I’m not an especially picky eater, nor am I a demanding customer. Show me that you’re making at least and effort, and I’ll cut you a break. El Chile Poblano has the potential to be a great asset to New Castle, but, honestly, I got the feeling that we were intruding on their free time by being there. Service wasn’t rude… it just… wasn’t. It appeared the employees would rather hang at the register and chat then wait on the customers… and there were plenty of us in there as it was dinner hour. The food was average… warm and fresh, but there was nothing to set it apart. I think there are better options when we visit New Castle.

Labor Day Monday not many people there but food was excellent and decent service for reasonable price. I would go back there again.

The service was prompt. Which isn’t saying much since we were one of two patrons at the time. The. chips were ok but salsa tasted a little funny. We ordered ground beef chimichangas, which were very flavorful although the beef seemed a little over done, and the quesadilla poblano was delicious and huge! It could have fed two or three people! My only suggestion would be to spread the cheese throughout the quesadilla instead of having all the cheesy goodness at the fold. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.
