This is such a wonderful group to work with. I use them often for catering for my employer and have always had great service! I would recommend Mancino’s of New Castle to anyone on any day!

Great sandwiches served here. I liked the Roast Beef and Sandy likes Hot Ham and Cheese. Service is quik and the sandwiches are served hot.

I have been eating here since I was a little kid and it’s just as good as I remember now moving back. The grinders knock subway out of the water. The pizza is not the best I’ve had. Consistently good food is hard to come by and warrants five stars.

The pizza is great, the grinders are great and the cheese sticks are WONDERFUL! The catering service we receive from the crew at Mancino’s is always right on! They take our order over the phone, the food has always been provided as ordered, delivery is on time and all at an extremely fair price. We order every couple of months and they keep record of our previous orders and the owner always remembers who we are when we call. This good service has happened time after time after time. Really nice to have small town attention with great food!

I LOVE Mancinos, there aren’t many left but the ones that are left are very good. This one has that nice small town feel to it, food was GREAT& service was good as well… I mean heck they even bring you your food to the table. LOVE the kitchen set up, it’s all up front and open so you can actually see them making your food. All around a great place & pricing isn’t that bad, I mean u will spend the same type of money at a Subway & the quality isn’t in the same league as Mancinos. Also the Half size grinder is about as long as a Subway Footlong(8 inches) and it was a perfect size lunch. Also I usually don’t take the time to even submit a review, but I liked this place so much that I actually took the time to submit it. May I suggest the Chicken Fajita Grinder

The first experience I had with Mancinos was awful. I had a coupon and since the ‘manager’ wasn’t present she couldn’t honor it. She said she would have him ‘call me’. Staff was young, rude, and clueless.(I understand first job in life, I had one too at 16, but I was never rude, and if so, not in front of the customer, EVER!!) … A year later we decide on delivery here. She answered the phone…“Mancinos, hold on please”, then instead of putting me on hold she sat the phone down and yelled, ‘someone get this order!!!’ Another girl picked up, hurried me thru the order, and $ 22 and 50 minutes later we have dinner, two subs. A whole and a half. I understand they have really good subs but I think that’s a little high. Last but not least, on a good note, the delivery guy was SUPER nice and friendly and had the girls taking the order been more friendly he would have gotten a better tip. They set the tone for the driver to have the same ‘New Castle’ tone… Pinched nose, unpleasant and mostly rude.

Best carry out in NC! Every time I come to NC to visit my family if given the choice on semi fast food Mancino’s is my 1st choice. I am a fan of their Stromboli and the hugest Nacho order anywhere.

I would gladly give this restaurant 4 stars had I reviewed it a year ago. Recently the food quality and specials have went downhill. They have never had very friendly staff but they weren’t rude. They were just always kind of Meh were here doing a job we hate but we will make sure you get your food. I can accept that. I cannot accept how a great restaurant has went this far downhill on food quality. Sadly disappointed. Hopefully it improves.

I worked here for several years in high school, but Mancino’s has some great food. It’s nothing fancy(fancy doesn’t exist in NC). It offers a small town atmosphere and a large, semi-creative menu with pizzas, sandwiches, salads etc. Great place to bring kids and loud families. They have two large party rooms too!

I was born and bred in olé New Castle, so lots of the restaurants hold special places in my heart. For example, I went to Mancino’s on Valentine’s Day with my first boyfriend. This was my job in high school. I overcame my fear of hot ovens by working here! There are a lot of monumental occasions from my adolescent period that happened in this restaurant in a small strip mall in a small town. That being said, Mancino’s is what it is. It’s a pizza/sandwich/pasta place and they don’t try to be anything they aren’t. You’re not going here for fine dining or to be wow’ed by presentation or service. You’re going to get some decently made food. Some people aren’t in to that, and that’s cool. I think that Mancino’s could improve, yes. I think that their prices are a bit high for what you receive, and I think that some things could be updated such as décor and the menu. If you go though, I highly suggest ordering the veggie grinder sans black olives. If you’re feeling pizza instead, you can’t go wrong with the Pride pizza. It’s basically a supreme pizza with a fancy name. Top it off with an order of cheesy breadsticks or garlic cheese bread… and end with a chocolate chip cookie. *Bonus Ex-Worker tip** Ask one of the employees to unwrap the cookie and half-bake it in the oven so it’s really gooey and warm. You can’t beat that!

This is the best Pizza place in town as far as I’m concerned. They have great Pizza the best I’ve had in this town. They deliver when they say they will and my order is always right. I don’t normally eat in their restaurant though due to their customer service. It is not the worst but its not the best. The order takers are usually nice and the drivers are nice.

To preface this– any other time I’ve eaten at a Mancino’s, the food was delicious. This place was looking pretty run down. I guess the theme of the décor was backwater hick sports & pageants, as there were pageant shots, as well as local sports teams pictures haphazardly placed on the walls. The one tiny TV showed racing, & the video game was a giant monster of a machine offering the highly enjoyable & apparently popular game of virtual fishing. Wow. The employees were taking tomatoes out of the box & slicing them without washing them. My sandwich tasted OK, but it took almost half an hour to get a vegetarian sandwich and a personal pizza made. There were only 2 other couples and about 4 workers in the place, so to toast some bread & cheese & slap some veggies & mayo on it, & take that long seems a bit too much. The bathroom was disgusting. I could go on.
