We tried to stop by this place to stock up everytime we are driving by on the way to visit our inlaws in IN. The owner was nice and we love their big gentle dog, Burley.

Smith-Berry Winery is a great place to come visit! I have been out to the winery multiple times and it has never disappointed. The concerts are a great time and the food is delicious! You can’t beat the price for a concert and the food! The wine is great and is very affordable. The view at the winery is beautiful. I have been there for weddings and they have been gorgeous. The landscaping as well as the land is breathtaking. Perfect place to come and get away, relax, and of course, enjoy some great wine.

I stopped in a couple months ago with family. My mom and I were the only wine drinkers in our group, but everyone else enjoyed the little shop, the scenery, and the amazingly gorgeous and friendly dog! Tasting and bottle prices are very reasonable, and if you bought a bottle, they waived the tasting fee. I bought a bottle of the delicious Bluegrass Blush to bring back to California and hoard all to myself. My mom bought a bottle of the Flat Rock Red for a Christmas party we hosted later. It was a great crowd-pleasing wine. I remember the Blueberry and the Brother John also being good picks. Enjoy the drive there, too! Depending on which road you take, you might pass through a couple of adorable little rural towns. It was a rainy winter day when we went, but we all know Kentucky is pretty in any weather. :)

Great little winery on a former tobacco farm off exit 34 on Interstate 71 in Kentucky. I have visited half a dozen times over the past 10 years. New signage added to direct you from the interstate to the winery makes it much easier to find, and is a big improvement from my first visit where I had to stop at the local gas mart and ask if anyone knew where it was. I really like their Norton wine, as well as the Brother John red table wine. I also like the Two Dog White(which they were out of my last visit), but I discovered their new dry Riesling, which was not at all sweet and therefore more to my liking. Wine is going from $ 12.00 to $ 20.00, depending on type and reserve. I would put this wine up against any other moderately priced domestic, and it would fair well.

Love this winery. We stumbled on this winery taking a day trip on the country roads to Louisville, KY. This place is amazing! Lots of photo ops! Barns, art room, etc. The wines are excellent! My favorite is the dry red. They do dinners, but have not tried it. That will be next on my list.
