Best pizza in New City, hands down. The crust is a nice mix of soft insides, with golden, crisp outside. Whether it be a plain, eggplant rolatini, margarita, or any of the other choices you cannot go wrong. The Zeppeli’s are also delicious

The Firecracker slice (bacon, onions, fra diavolo spicy sauce) will knock your socks off! When you’re done being naughty with that slice, have a Grandma slice, that is also a gem. Can’t go wrong with the specialty slices. Chicken Caesar salad pretty good as well. Good service.

The family meal is an excellent deal for only $ 25. The pizza is very good and the penne all a vodka had just the right amount of cream in the sauce. However I wouldn’t mind if they added a little more basil to it. It also came with a fresh salad with different greens and carrots. Oh and let’s not forget the garlic knots which were soft and delicious. I would definitely be going back again.

For the people who say this place is filthy. I don’t know what you’re expecting. It’s a pizza place. It’s obviously not beautiful but I certainly wouldn’t call it dirty and gross. I’ve had the chopped create your own salad several times and it’s very delicious. The ingredients seem very fresh. HOWEVER. never in my life have I seen a more lackluster deli case. They have some of the most original specialty slices ever, yet they all look as if they were made several days ago and kept in the fridge. I’ll continue to go here for the salads and possibly try a sandwich, however I would never buy their pizza.

Used to be our go to place for Friday night pizza every week… not anymore. The quality of their pizza has seriously fallen off and it’s just not tasting or looking good these days. Last time we ordered, our pie seemed to be reheated, not fresh tasting at all and the cheese was like a sheet of rubber. That being said, we still order their sandwiches and salads on the occasion and can’t complain about their quality. Really miss how great they used to be and I wish I could give 2.5 stars as the pizza deserves a lower rating.

Mmmmmmm, stopped in here and ordered a slice. Then I had another. Really wanted to go for the trifecta but I was too full. Their pizza is delicious and judging from the way the rest of the food looked, I was more than impressed. The only problem is that I was in the area for a specific reason and they’re far from home. If they were closer, they would absolutely be my regular pizza place. Kudos. Can’t wait to stop in again next time I’m in the area.

Ok this was our go to place for delivery but we are done. Too many times the girl that answers the phone is just plain rude. Something is usually NOT right with our order. I do have a high tolerance for mistakes but there are too many other choices for delivery and pizza. We were sent expired soda which I did mention the next time I ordered and asked the girl to make sure it was fresh. She said ok. I would think the next one would be on them since they sent us expired soda that went in the garbage. Nope. Charged just as usual. Their chopped salads are great when they get the ingredients right. Tonight the final straw they delivered an over cooked (burnt) pizza, pasta with hardly any sauce and forgot the soda (delivery guy did go back for it). No point in complaining since the last time I did nothing was done. Oh well they lost a regular customer.

5 stars is an understatement, pizza is great just as good as nyc. Calzones are even better and there signature slices and inventive and creative as well as delicious, friendly staff and the owners are welcoming and so reasonably priced great for on the go Best pizza in rockland. Very surprised that after only my second time in there the owner rob says «3 sausage and black olive slices right» AWESOME PLACE!

Our family has been going to Pakulas since they opened and we LOVE it! Taste in pizza is personal, but I just don’t get people trashing it. It is really really good pizza. Their calzones are great as are their other menu items. As far as this place being filthy, no it is not. I often wonder if the competition leaves reviews to bash. The staff is very, very friendly, all of them. The two owners can’t help but be happy and nice, its in their DNA. They are very accommodating and always helpful. Try their sausage and cheese calzone, delicious!!!

Hands down the best pizza in New City! The décor inside is not that great and not the type of place I would want to eat at but for takeout this place is excellent. Huge slices, very good sandwiches and friendly staff.

I want to love this place, but I just can’t. The pizza is great, but it’s so filthy and dirty inside that I just can’t get past that. If you don’t care that the place is filthy and the service is rude, then by all means enjoy!

I live within walking distance, and I gladly go out of my way to get pizza elsewhere. The food is edible, and sadly there are not a lot of good pizzerias in Rockland, but you can do better than Pakula’s.

Truly the best pizza in Rockland, and on par with the best even NYC has to offer. The first thing I try at any place for the first time is the plain regular slice – this way there’s nothing fancy to hide the sauce, which is the crux of any good pizza. Pakulas is excellent sauce! It tastes of fresh herbs and spices without going overboard on the oregano…
The pizza is slightly thinner than a standard pizzeria slice, so the crust gets nice and crispy. And they cheese is proportional to the slice – there’s no overabundance of dripping cheese, which is the sign of a bad slice.
We also tried the garlic knots, which were top notch, as well as a sausage and pepper roll. Quality sausage, not the cheap, bland stuff.
I’m fortunate to work close enough to Pakulas that we can get it every week. I don’t usually gush over pizza, but this is one place that truly deserves the praise.

Best pizza in all of Rockland. Have the buffalo chicken pizza or the margarita slice. The garlic knots are heaven. Don’t forget to try the fricken chicken. This is the home of the fricken chicken. Tell ‘em Rob sent ya. Or Jeff.
