Paw Parlor

This review is for the subset of the population who want/​need to get their cats groomed. I recently moved to the area and my cat Lou (a Himalayan) was shedding like a mofo from the impending spring. I’d gotten him groomed/​cut at a Petco where I used to live and even had him in a lion cut before (FYI — Lou and I hated it, never again). When I discovered Paw Parlor had just opened up not far from my house I had to make an appointment. The owner gave me some great advice on how to get Lou the best groom possible and we talked about his personality, health, etc. She even recommended we schedule an early appointment so he wouldn’t be scared of the dogs coming in later in the day. When the «big day» came I dropped off Lou in the morning and he was done within an hour and a half — I got my grocery shopping done for the week while I waited. I picked up Lou and spoke with the owner how he did and future upkeep for him & his hair. Upon taking him home and letting him out of his crate I was beside myself — he looked even cuter than I thought possible! I can tell he’s enjoying the cut too since he has less hair to manage now. I’m for sure going back there soon.
Overall I would say this is a SUPERB grooming facility. You can tell the owner genuinely cares for all of our furry friends and knows what she’s doing. If I had success with a long-​haired cat then I’m sure dog owners will have absolutely no issues at all.
