EMC Performing Arts Studio

EMC is a treasure in our small community. The level of instruction is like nothing around — don’t waste your time and money anywhere else! My daughter was in their dance program for over ten years and now is looking to pursue ballet professionally. This would not be possible without her many years of EMC training. What is most wonderful about EMC is the supportive, loving, and fun atmosphere that you will find there. I have many years of great memories helping-​out backstage during the performances and rehearsals. The owner, Robin, has created a place where teachers, dancers, and parents all support each other and the kids LOVE being there. I’m so glad my daughter was able to experience being a part of the EMC family.
I’m sad to see the response of one of the reviewers on this page that seems to be using Unilocal in an unhelpful way. Based on my many years of experience at EMC, I’d say this reviewer’s problem has nothing to do with the studio owner. If you seek-​out drama (think «Dance Moms»), then EMC is not the place for you.

Very professionally operated. Very impressed with the owner, the staff, and the students. I can’t recommend it highly enough. (Did you know that they accept boys too — and they offer a lot more than just dance. They also offer music lessons).

I am surprised there are no reviews as of yet, so I figured I would be the first.
EMC appears to be a small studio for various arts programs. We went to their Open House a few months ago for their «Tumble Tots» program and were very impressed with the facility. The place is much larger than it appears from the outside and has multiple levels, studios and places for instruction. The tour and the owners were very thorough and we were ended up signing up our son for the class.
With that said, once we started the classes, again we were very happy with the class. Ms. Katie runs the class and makes the class as fun as possible while giving attention to all the students. It’s parent-​child interactive, but she literally runs from parent-​child to parent-​child making sure we all get attention and are working on the skills. Since our son is so young, we have issues with his attention and ability to do some things, but it’s is astounding how much he has progressed over the past 8 months. We enjoy the class and are very happy with EMC!
