Granted they have a selection BUT if you have ever visited fireworks stores in other states or in mid PA, you will see these prices are horrible. Pretty much most 500 gram cakes are really 20 – 45 $ retail at the most. They are raping people with those 99 bucks for a cake crap. The buy one get one deal isn’t a deal at all, you’re still over paying. Google other places in Pa that aren’t chains and you’ll see some great prices and even cheaper case prices if you’re buying a lot. totally worth the drive as long as you have a Pa permit from your township supervisor. We spend 5,000 on a fireworks show and we have over 400 cakes plus xcal mortars. That wouldn’t even be possible from places like this.

These stores are such a joke. The can sell them in PA, but not people that actually live in PA. What a scam.
But then again, I try not to buy anything is the O’Malley taxes everything state.

AJ is so friendly and eager to help, he’s really experienced with the merchandise and can clearly explain what to expect with each item. His variety of stock is amazing and the prices are extremely reasonable, considering you get amazing ‘buy 1 get 1 (2, 3, depending on the item) free’. It’s unfortunate that the location of this store is so hidden from the road (it’s off to the right, on top of a hill), but the trip is definitely worth it.

This place is huge and has a great selection of all types of consumer fireworks. They had some good 3-​for-​1 deals on repeaters. The biggest disappointment was the one thing that I bought because it was supposedly on sale for like 80% off — the Sky King brand 16-​shot repeater. All of the less expensive repeaters were much better than this one. The 6 and 20 shot repeaters are a great value and put on a great show.

AJ was extremely helpful. He went out of his way to make sure we got what we needed for our party. He even gave us a detailed description of what order the fireworks should go off.
The directions were great and the show was a big hit. The «Let it Rock» package was quite impressive. Will definitely be using Sky King again for the next party.

AJ was sooooooo helpful! He definitely knew what he was talking about! Everyone here was very nice and personable! AJ took his time to talk to talk to us. He was extremely knowledgeable about the different types of explosives and gave my fiancé great advice! He gave his personal recommendations about each and every thing there was! We had a coupon from the competitor across the street and they honored it! The prices were reasonable with the discounts and promotions! I would definitely come here again… for every holiday!

Actually went to visit their competitor and this guy was IN-​YOUR-​FACE trying to capitalize on the competitor’s existing presence. But that’s the capitalist society that we live in!
What I found was a store with a good deal of selection and a fair prices. We went back and forth to compare prices with the other guy and our consensus is that Sky King has a better selection and slightly better prices, and, to top it all, slightly friendlier service staff. The store was about five aisles with inventory stocked to the SKY! About the size of a small town grocer or hardware store.
I feel that it is a clear choice that Sky King will probably have my business the next time as well.
