I went camping here for this Labor Day weekend. It was really nice here! Hiking trails, biking trails, nature walks lead by a knowledgeable guide… it was great! Depending on which area you select you can have access to the«modern» bathrooms or the«pit» bathrooms — and to be honest with you I thought it was going to be nightmarish … on the contrary… the bathrooms were super clean and the showers weren’t so bad. No public bathroom smell no crap allover the floor… it was really nice(for camping that is). The trails were a good length and depending on what you’re into they give you choices from«easy» trail to «rugged» trail. They have plenty of playgrounds and activities for your kids and make sure to bring your bike as you can ride them everywhere in here. Your camp space is pretty big and you get your open pit/grill thing with your very own picnic bench. yay! The people staying there were okay too… not friendly… but not rude either… at least they weren’t annoyingly loud. The staff… super friendly and very helpful. Not really sure what is in the area since it seemed pretty remote — so make sure you bring EVERYTHING — although they do supply you with ice, firewood and starter logs at reasonable prices of course. So make sure to check it out — I think it was worth it and am excited to go back(given the opportunity). My g/f, Zero and I had much relaxing fun. YAY!
