Cliff is very professional, and even stayed after his usual hours to help with our car. He’s trust worthy and reliable, and we def plan to bring our car to him again for future work.

This place is the best. You should never go anywhere else but here. I called on a Tuesday because I would have a second car, and be able to get my truck detailed, and he took the truck to detail the very next day! Then, I got caught at work and he literally stayed two hours and waited for me, even though it made him very late for church. How sweet is this man, to give up his own needs to help me?
And let’s talk about the quality. Excellent. Extraordinary. It’s like a new truck inside. It had been disgusting– I have two kids. Cheerios, sticky hands on the windows, melted ice cream, muddy foot prints, sticky cup holders, just, nasty. He had the whole thing ship shape in one day. I can’t even fathom how that was accomplished.

Great guy but his outside detailing on a vehicle gets washed away after 1 run through the car wash. Didn’t bother to lift the seats up in the back of my husbands truck to clean. Not satisfied at all for what he charged. There will not be any repeat business from this family!

Clif and his guys did a great job detailing my car. Everyone was very nice and they finished ½ hour early. I would definitely go back.

I rarely write reviews on Unilocal,but was blown away by the service Cliff gave me. He was willing to pick up the car and drop it off, was incredibly punctual, and the detailing work was incredible. I would hire him again in a heartbeat!

I bought a used car from a friend and it was incredibly dirty, especially on the inside. I called Cliff and asked if he did green detailing (with all natural products). He said he could. He picked up the car from me (one of the absolute BEST parts of his services). He got the car back to me later that day. The car looked gorgeous, but it smelled like Windex. We called and talked about it and it turned out we had miscommunicated about exactly what «green» meant. Because I need my car to be totally chemical free he agreed to re-​do the job at no extra cost with seventh generation products! The result was totally scent free and safe for a friend of mine who is extraordinarily sensitive to scents and chemical residues. Cliff makes sure you are happy with the work that he does, and his work is spectacular! I couldn’t be happier.

I was searching for a good place to get my car detailed (about to take it in as a trade-​in so it needed to look it’s best!) I live mid state but the best reviews were for Cliff’s in New Haven. I was doing this very last minute and I called on a Friday to get in on maybe Sat. they were too busy but he offered to come in on Sunday to do it for me! Unbelievable. The reviews are totally accurate;they did an awesome job on the car (I have dogs. German Shepherds so the hair was terrible) It looked brand new, and the price was extremely reasonable. Cliff and everyone who works there were incredibly friendly and helpful and professional. I took the car in to the dealer, and I know I got at least $ 700 more for the trade in than I would have. I’ve had cars detailed in the past and I will definitely now make the extra drive to New Haven, anytim, e to have Cliff and his folks detail my car.

Cliff is a genius. I brought my brand new red mini cooper to him because a fruit tree had dropped its fall berries on the car and had practically eaten into the paint. Nothing I did could remove the berry stains. Cliff gradually tried one product after another until he got a combination that removed the stains while not damaging the paint finish. He then completed the job with a wax to protect the car not only from the cleaning it had just had but the wax will last through most of the winter. He was thorough, professional, and really nice.
I’ve never been to a detailer before, so I cannot compare prices. But I do know that his gracious, helpful and professional service is worth every penny I spent. And speaking of pennies, as I was driving away after having received the estimate, he called after me because he had just thought of a less expensive alternative. Saved me $ 30. The man is a great person to do business with.

Incredibly professional, accommodating gentleman. I needed my car detailed on a last minute basis and Cliff managed to work me into his schedule with only an hours notice. My vehicle looks better than when I bought it, absolutely fantastic job. Highly recommended.

I have never met Cliff, but he knows my car more intimately than any stranger should. He has had hands and brushes and cloths in places that no one should ever go without at least buying the car a drink first. Should this sort of behaviour be rewarded? I say yes!
Cliff is willing to pick up my car from my house as early in the morning as I can leave my keys for him, he keeps it at his shop for about 2 hours and returns in in gleaming, showroom condition. He works hard, he is honest, and he delivers on his promises. If more businesses ran like this there would be no poverty, the world would be peaceful and loving, and we would be able to stop global warming. As it is, I’m really glad my car is clean.

I found out about Cliff’s Professional Auto Detailing after reading nothing but great reviews about him online. My car was in desperate need of a good exterior detailing so I decided to give Cliff a shot. First thing I noticed when I called to set up a time is how professional and polite he is, he completely works around your schedule to find a time that is good for you. When I dropped off my car I was told it would be ready in 2.5−3 hours. When I came back I was blown away. It looks absolutely amazing and you can tell Cliff really takes pride in his work. I would have no problem going back to Cliff for another exterior or interior detailing I was recommend anyone in the New Haven/​Hamden area that is looking for a great detailer at a great price go see Cliff!

Cliff was recommended by a close friend of ours – the car was long overdue for a good detailing so we decided to make an appointment. It was a quick and easy process and we were able to get the car scheduled in just a few days. We made sure to ask Cliff if he’d also be able to clean the front headlights (over the years they had gotten a bit dull) and he said no problem, he could buff them and would only charge a bit extra for it.
When we got the car back, it looked like the day we bought it – it was super clean both on the outside and the inside (and the headlights were nearly shiny again!). It was a great investment and I highly recommend trusting Cliff with your car – you won’t be disappointed!

Cliff is the most professional, detail oriented, and polite auto detailer I have ever met. He charges a fair price every time (though I always do make sure to add a big and well deserved tip/​performance bonus) He will go through your car millimeter² by millimeter² until your car is showroom ready. Every time I go to pick up my car, I am stunned by how flawless his work is.

It’s been such a pleasure doing business with Cliff and he now has a customer for life. The outstanding service started from my first call — no one picked up and I decided to just call back later. Cliff returned the call within minutes and talked me through my options and all that’s included for the price quoted. I arrived at the crack of dawn from NYC and Cliff and his brother were there early waiting for me. They took great care of me and my car, chatting with me as they worked, and ensuring that I was comfortable, safe, and had whatever I needed. They finished a full ½ hour earlier than I’d been quoted and I was able to sell my vehicle for the best price possible because it was off-​the-​showroom-​floor immaculate. I’ve never paid much mind to auto detailing, etc., which is probably why my car needed so much attention. I’m a complete convert now, though, and will make the trip to New Haven to work with Cliff from here on out. Fantastic experience and I wouldn’t dream of using anybody else.

I called Cliff with a specific question about damage to the inside of my car, he patiently talked me through the best options and gave me an estimate for the work (which turned out to be perfectly accurate). He picked the car up from my office, did a wonderful job and returned it promptly. Highly courteous and efficient service. And my car looks as good as new!
