I was involved in a major motorcycle accident just over 2 two years ago. The pain was unbelievable! If it wasn’t for Dr. John I don’t think I would’ve gotten through it. Not only is he amazing, his office staff is also. John takes a lot of pride in what he does and how he treats his patients. Quite honestly, the treatment he offers is the best.

I was reluctant to go to a chiropractor, but when I injured my back at the gym. My friend suggested I see Dr. Cianciolo. Dr. Cianciolo was professional, and most importantly he knew how to treat my back pain! He treated me 3 times-back was better! I like that he didn’t try to sell me on treatments-just told me to come back if my back acted up!

Dr. John is a super nice person, very kind and attentive to your needs as a patient, but more importantly, he is a superb chiropractor. Have been seeing him a few times a year for 4 years now and I always am pain-free the day after the visit. He knows his way around a spine!

Pain, including back pain, is difficult to handle every day, and finding the right provider to help manage that pain is sometimes an equally difficult task. After many years of unrelenting shoulder pain, a recent whiplash experience after a car accident, and throwing out my back attending births, other chiropractic providers in New Haven were unable to do for me in multiple visits what Dr. Cianciolo and his staff did for me today. –I felt supported through the phone in making the appointment and ensuring coverage via my insurance, which for many is a task they’d rather leave to the patient to handle. –Dr. Cianciolo allowed me room to speak, made me feel listened to, asked follow-up questions, supported the alternative therapies I had sought out, and provided true empathy for my acute and chronic pain. –He provided support and guidance for a recent ankle problem and encouraged follow-up care if not resolved in a certain amount of time. It’s all in the details: –The Chiropractic Assistant is incredibly kind, asking about my issues before the appointment and asking again at check-out to ensure all issues were addressed. –I was sent home with exercises to do regularly to appropriately stretch. –They take Yale Health Plan(which as an insurance only covers chiropractic if you’re an employee). –There are Yale graduate students who live on the upper floors of the building(which he owns). –Onsite and free street parking available. –Spent more time and kindness than multiple visits to the New Haven Chiropractic Group in the days after my car accident when I could barely walk in the door. –He carries the same magazine as my favorite Massage Therapist(Sabita!) carries — Natural Awakenings. –Lots of hours in the early morning and late afternoon to fit lots of schedules.
