THE best I’ve had in a long long time. I had the catfish and both fries and onion rings. The only thing that could be viewed as a negative is there was just too much food!

This spot could easily get a 5, but two things killed my experience here. The girl at the front desk was attentive but could have been more upbeat. The second thing which killed it was the huge display of bootleg dvds to your left as you walk in. The brother in front of the dvd display, although he said excuse me let out a burp that shook the ground, yuk! As for the food, had a whiting sandwich and some fries. Portion size was on point and was crisp. Will def go back, its a hood spot so i guess that explains the whole bootleg dvd thing. I mean if you have a Ctown across the street from your business thats a clear indication that your in the hood.

I absolutely love this restaurant! It’s even better than most seafood restaurants! Fresh seafood! And the quality and quantity are excellent! I can feed 3 people off one dinner box! The prices are great! Well worth it! I highly recommend you try Kevin’s Seafood!

This is a take out only spot that has been around for years.
The food is priced reasonably for the amount you get.
I ordered up a platter of whiting, fries, and slaw. Moms had the shrimp sandwich.
The whiting could have been dressed a little better, I got some fins and more bones than expected.
All was fried just right, add hot sauce and bread and you are GTG :0)
A good solid spot for the ‘hood. I’ll continue to visit when I am in town.

Stopped in during a break from work yesterday, ordered the Scallops lunch combo (coleslaw & fries). Everything was tasty, even though it was fried, nothing was greasy. Loved the coleslaw, it was excellent. Meal came with a decent size cup of tarter sauce, as well as cocktail sauce.
Would certainly come back again in the future to sample other menu items.

Great place for fresh fried seafood on the go. They offer everything from fish sandwiches to shrimp to everything in between and even desserts. The food is well prepared and doesn’t leave you feeling greasy. The service is always prompt.
There is a reason this business has been around for many many years. Try them!

Absolutely the best shrimp in the Elm City area… I’m a huge fan of Damato’s Seafood & I usually purchase the side order of shrimp from there… but Kevin’s shrimp isn’t greasy & it’s absolutely delicious, the portions you received is fulfilling… the only negative I have, it’s little pricey…

I grew up on Kevin’s back in the day and was so sad when they closed. Luckily, a few years ago, they opened back up on Kimberly Avenue in New Haven and all is well with the world.
Their fish sandwiches are sooooo good and the onion rings send me into orbit. Their calamari is also very very good and when I want a variety, I get a combo box.
I love this place and every time I go back to New Haven to see my family, Kevin’s is on the top of the list.
