I like this pizza. Remember you can order it however you like yours. It won’t disappoint!

Great place. Met the owners and they were super nice. They don’t have much indoor seating, so we had to sit outside, but they brought our food out to us and went back and forth a couple of times when we asked them for additional stuff(we had a party of 10, including 4 kids.) I had a salad, which was great, and the kids had pizza, which they devoured without complaint. Great pizza and good service gets them 5 stars in my book. This is pretty much a takeout situation, so don’t show up thinking you’re going to eat in.

Scroll to the end if you want the details in the actual food. I’m going to prepare you for the small town experience in the meantime. Having just had a great time at Pinckney Bend distillery around the corner, my wife and I were looking for a meal to help soak up our libations. We walked to Lancito’s around 5pm, shortly after they reopened for dinner. This pizzeria is the definition of hole in the wall. There was space for 22-top tables. 3 people were busy in the kitchen. The fourth answered the phones and took our order. Everyone was nice, despite looking busy. We ordered a medium Herbivore. The young woman swiped my card, then told us it would be 40 to 45 minutes. This came as an unpleasant surprise given that there was no else in the place. But, the Unilocal reviews were positive. We stayed. Good things come to those who wait. I asked if we could sit at one of the two small tables, and was told we could not.(Apparently it had been reserved.) We waited in our car for just shy of an hour, around the time the party if 4 came to claim their table. One of the staff apologized for the delay. Such were the annoyances I was glad to put up with. The pizza was great and tasted like it had just been made from scratch, which it was. The crust was original, a nice mix of crunchy and soft. The cheese was a higher quality than you get from the chains. The topping portions were generous. While not the best pizza I’ve ever had, it beat my expectations of what such a meek establishment could produce. In brief, it was well worth the wait.

Hands down, the best pizza in Missouri. The owner and his staff are downright awesome, friendly and really make it feel like you’re eating out in their own living room. If you are tired of the nasty Provel pushers, come to Lancito’s!

I got a pepperoni, green pepper, bacon pizza and it was amazing. I live in Stl and it was one of the best pizza places I have ever been to.
