Oh reliable Liu. His cart is always the first one up and the last one to leave. He and his wife are there basically every single day. which is a godsend on the weekend if you live in the dorm across the street(no food on the weekends). I usually get either: steamed pork dumplings, mapo tofu, or the rice with shrimp and green beans. You get generous portions for an average $ 5 cost. I particularly like going here because you can get brown rice substituted for free.

Good, solid choice if you’re looking for Chinese at the food carts near Yale Med School or the hospital. Located just in the shadow of the overspan(Nathan Smith Building, to be exact), about 3 or 4 carts away from York Street. Very popular, but you aren’t in for a long wait either. Have the whole range of standbys, including General Tso’s Chicken(very good, chicken is crispy but you should add some sriracha if you’re looking for spicy), lo mein dishes, dumplings(ok, but not spectacular), phở soup(mediocre, much better soup at other carts) and Triple Delight(chicken, beef, shrimp… tasty). They also offer white, brown and pork/plain fried rice. The chicken is all white meat, if that’s important to you. I visit the cart at least every other week, I haven’t had a bad meal there yet and will continue to visit for the foreseeable future. I wouldn’t say they’re amazing, but they are solid, reliable and affordable. Recommended
