A unique ocular oncologist at Yale. He is very patient focused, has outstanding listening skills, des not rush and works very quick and efficiently. Also has a friendly team to help him. Dr Materin does all modern tests and therapies and he has additional experts available like a neuro-​ophthalmologist and a low vision doctor fr special cases. He also speaks Spanish fluently. His clinic is not massive nor overcrowded. It has sort of a homey touch. The eye clinic on Tempe Street in New Aven is only a 12 minute walk from the Amtrak station fr New Haven.
