Great disappointment — my friend brought me this to-go box from an «Indian food cart» —naturally I was excited because an Indian food cart around here is a bit of a rarity. Good portion size but the food is probably worse than you’d find at a local Indian college student. Very bland and old tasting — I used to love Swagat the restaurant(It’s been closed for a while now) but this is just bad period. Very sad to see this:(

Perhaps I should lower my expectations b/c of the cart factor… but I just couldn’t get into the food. The +: ’ the price is right ’ large portion(can be lunch and dinner) ’ veg and non veg options The -: ’ bland ’ naan is pre-packaged frozen ’ all the dishes taste the same Gotta seek out an alternate truck that pleases the palate.

Five stars for a food cart. I really like the food here. Originally I worried that the food would be too heavy, but it’s light and flavorful. This is a nice choice for lunch!

Meh, meh, meh, and more meh! For some reason, I’ve avoided this cart for 3 years. Now I know that on a subconscious level I must have anticipated how underwhelming the experience would be. I had curry cod fish, chickpeas, spinach and cheese over jasmine rice. At first I couldn’t decided if the food was good or not(a bad sign, I know). The right seasonings for a successful Indian dish were present but the food tasted stale(possibly from sitting out too long?). Choking on several fish bones definitely tipped the scale.
