Barry is terrific, either he can repair it for a reasonable price or he’ll tell you it’s not worth trying to fix it. He does beautiful work, on time, and is a pleasure to deal with.

There are high-​end specialty services in this area for chair caning, refinishing and restoration, but until now I haven’t been able to find someone to make a repair to ordinary furniture. Recently I broke one of my dining room chairs, and after a lengthy search, located Furniture Doctor. Very nice people, excellent service. In this case, my chair was ready the next day and the repair is undetectable.
