Was here for«The Game». Yes, I picked up some terminology while visiting. There’s a ton of grassy area for tailgating. They set up porta-potties with incredibly long lines(just use the stadium bathrooms, which are actually located outside the stadium). The stadium itself was fun. It’s all bench seating, so you can squeeze in as many people as you can. Huddle up in the fall/winter because when the sun goes down, it gets chilly. Seats aren’t comfortable, but you can buy a Yale cushion. Because y’know, nothing like sitting on your school’s name and mascot. Only complaint is that it’s relatively far and not easy to get to(even with the provided school bus shuttles). A ton of people walked back to campus, bless their hearts.

Standard stadium that’s very open, so make sure you bundle up for those fall games! I just wish that I could see the Bowl completely filled, since the emptiness definitely takes away from the potential energy of the games! They have food, but only cold things, such as salad wraps and chips(no hot dogs!).

this long time New Haven institution is in some dire need of cash. the seats are outright dangerous many of which the rows are blocked off because the seats are actually missing. It’s too bad because I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and the place is really gone to pot. IMHO
