We only go to the laundromat on occasion to wash our really big blankets and comforters that won’t fit in our home machine. These can be really harrowing trips, or they can be easy and efficient. Our trip to A Plus fell in the latter category for sure. It’s not a huge place, but there are lots of machines of varying sizes that will suit most of your needs. I was delighted to find that I could get two of my really big comforters easily into the extra large capacity washer. The dryers were the normal type stacked two deep, but they were large and worked pretty well. In general, I though the machines were clean, well-labeled and easy to use, so all good marks there. There were a few that were out of order, but these were also clearly marked, with a sign over the coin slot to avoid people putting money in, and the number of out of order machines was not enough to make me feel like the place was broken down. Prices were a bit steep, but I feel that way every time I go to a laundromat. The super jumbo washer was $ 10 per load, but the other washers were more reasonable. You could pay with quarters, tokens(which were for sale in the machines on the wall), or the machines all had credit card swipers as well. There were carts and tables for folding, plus a decent(though not copious) amount of seating for people waiting. There’s a machine that sells soap and such and also a little corner for kids to play in. My only real complaint about cleanliness is that the rugs and mats on the floor all seemed like they could use a good cleaning. But I’d rather have the mats be dirty than the machines. In all, our laundry came out fine, we were able to get in and out easily, and I found the facility to be clean and nice enough to feel comfortable there doing my wash. We’d come back next time we need to do our larger items.
