Food is good but not for the price vs. quantity. They really skimp on the portion sizes. I like that you can eat outdoors because not many places have outdoor seating in that area, but if your planning on eating indoors and are really hungry if recommend to go somewhere else. Examples: $ 8.50 onion rings had 8 onion rings and some quite tiny. $ 14 to go — butternut squash salad had 5 tiny pieces of squash in it and only filled a quarter of the container. Hummus platter came with very few pitas. The portion sizes are definitely lacking. Also, the bathroom almost always has a line for the women’s room and it is congested in there. The bathroom is too small to accommodate the business. Finally, the only option to dry your hands are the germ blowers. I’ve given this place a few chances at this point and I never leave impressed. Just meh. Again if you’re in the area and prefer to eat outside its a good location and food isn’t bad, but if you want to be satisfied and feel good about your purchase this isn’t your spot.

I had lunch here today with my mom. She loves the burgers! We both got soup. I got the vegetarian chili which was amazing and my mom got the turkey corn chowder which was way different than we both thought it would be but so good! For my entrée I got shrimp tacos and fruit salad. Definitely one of the best I have eaten though usually you get three tacos with an entrée and here there was just two. My mom of course got her burger: the Guinness burger with potato salad. She said both were great! The burgers are huge and they gave you a lot of potato salad as well. The prices were more than reasonable especially for the area. We would definitely go back again if in the area!

We were both happy with our meal and will go back. I had the fish tacos with sweet potato fries, my husband had the grilled salmon. We did have a coupon and going there for the first time, we will go back. We ordered and shared the apple cobbler for dessert, it was a little strange in presentation, it came in a beer mug? Filled with sliced apples and I mean filled, syrup and topped with vanilla ice cream, my only complaint was the mug, please change it to a bowl, it was very hard to eat and share. Service was very good.

Décor: Okay traditional rustic feel Service: Breakfast service was a little scrambled but our dinner server, Ava/Viv(?), was super nice and helpful, loved her! There were 4 – 5 girls at the hostess desk for some reason, one told me there was a 25 min wait, I looked around and there were at least 10 – 15 open tables, then they went back to gabbing and giggling. Okay??? Then 5 min later they called us for a table, get it together ladies. The bartender on Sunday night at the bar was really nice too, he gave us some good recs and made us some solid drinks. Breakfast: Staying at the Golden Plough got us free breakfast, nice spread with cereal, pastries, breakfast sammies. But everything was always running out and there were never any cups for the juices. Think they were understaffed. The a la cart omelettes were your typical omelettes. Every morning they were out of the yogurt parfait with granola, upon further questioning turns out they don’t even have yogurt or granola or berries, not that they just ran out. Why have this on the menu as a tease? Dinner: Dinner menu was a lot more impressive than breakfast menu, the reason for the 4 star review rather than a 3 star. Pork fries — Yum! The homemade hot sauce was so good, chopped pickles added a nice touch, tender pork, crispy fries. Would def get again. Guinness burger — ordered med-well, came well done, still tasty because of toppings, sweet potato fries were AWESOME. Actually nice and crunchy, not soggy at all. Turkey sandwich — on yummy grain bread, surprisingly moist and tasty, dill potato salad was yums too. Overall: Great for dinner and bar, eh for breakfast, but with the free breakfast with stay at the inn, can’t really complain I guess. Would def come back for dinner and hope we get Ava/Viv(?) again.

This place had a 45 minute wait and we waited 43 minutes before we were seated. That was nice knowing the time given was almost dead on. We were greeted quickly and had our drinks within the first 5 minutes of sitting down. However, once we ordered we never saw our waitress again. Our food came, our drinks were empty and she never checked in on us. She walked by our table multiple times and we tried to get her attention by politely raising our hands and saying excuse me multiple times in passing. It was so frustrating that we had to obnoxiously wave our hand at her when she was walking right past our table and then she finally stopped. By that time we had finished our meals and just wanted a refill on our drinks. The food was good… nothing amazing but the service definitely fell short. I don’t have any desire to run back to this place considering my first experience, service wise, wasn’t that great.

I understand an hour to an hour half wait. But when you order a medium Guinness burger with no onions and naked, why does it come with onions??? Not only on the burger under the cheese but I think maybe fried onions with the sweet potato fries. And when I said something the new Guinness burger without onions was not cooked to medium temperature. I guess it was rushed and not cooked properly. At this point I was to hungry and most of the rest of the table were done. Honestly would not come back here until try the other restaurants in the area first.

Food here is simple but awesome! We had their burgers and pizza. Burgers were huge with a pile of fries. Pizza had homemade sausage that was out of this world. First time here and we’ll definitely be back!

I’ve eaten a lot of burgers in my life — and I have to say I think ‘Buttonwood’ is at the top of my burger list. A couple of days ago I went to Peddler’s Village for the Apple Festival and got the butchers grind burger with blue cheese and added bacon. ‘Cause why not add bacon? It was delicious. Their fries are incredible as well, but since I got such heavy options on my burger I decided to give their coleslaw a whirl. That was great, too! It was not overdressed with mayo like a lot of places do. I’m one of those gals who doesn’t like things dripping in mayo. If you are strolling around Peddler’s Village one day — give this place a go — you won’t regret it!

Had a delicious lunch here today. I came with a couple people for Apple festival. Had a delicious burger that was a mix of ground chuck, brisket and short ribs. Also had pumpkin and apple bisque and crab, spinach and artichoke dip. Service was outstanding.

Buttonwood isn’t bad, but it’s not a WOW place and Peddler’s Village, for what it is, really needs a WOW restaurant or two. It’s better for breakfast and lunch than dinner, I think expectations are a bit lower then,(even though I’m a breakfast freak) but for dinner, the menu is just so –so and the food again isn’t bad per se, but is just average at best. A redeeming quality is the portions are substantial, but not much more to report besides that. The décor is pretty boring and the drinks are too expensive(wine, beer and cocktails are the same price as more than half of the menu items)!!

I do not recommend this restaurant. The menu is very limited. The burger was pretty good. The spinach crab dip was ok. We ate outside and there were a lot of flies and bugs. The service was very slow. The food and drinks are also overpriced for what you get. Skip this tourist trap!

Great restaurant to visit in Peddler’s Village! My husband and I stumbled upon it during a walk with our two boys. We loved the atmosphere of the restaurant! They have a great outdoor seating area, as well as a large area indoors. The staff was really friendly, which really helped benefit our experience. And most importantly, the food was great!

We lunched at Buttonwood Grill when we went to Peddlers Village for the Peach Festival. My party of 2 was seated in only about 10 – 15 minutes despite the lunch rush. The pulled pork sandwich and side of potato salad were very good. My boyfriend really liked the burger.

I have had both breakfast and dinner here, both great meals. It’s always packed so if you can make resi’s, I recommend it. Good service and food selection. For a restaurant that borders«tourist trap» because of its association with Peddler’s Village, it pulls it off well.

Buttonwood Grill is by far one of the best restaurants that you can eat at in Pedders village, expecially they’re delicious nice sized burgers, with the choice of fries, coleslaw, or salad or potato fries for an extra dollar, Get here early, like 4 p.m. If you are planning on getting a seat right away, after 5 p.m. it starts getting packed and sometimes the wait is over an hour, or try to make reservations to make it a little faster, it’s great to sit out on the deck and have a good dinner on a nice summer day, The staff is nice service is fast, drinks come out with in 5 min of ordering. and the food comes out with in 10 min of ordering. I got a unsweetened iced tea with lemon which was very good. For dinner I got the Guinness onion burger with french fries. Got the burger well done, and was on a nice fresh roll. And enjoyed every bit of the burger with the fries that were r RT let good. And fresh. I look forward to coming back hear in near future for another great dinner. I suggest anyone coming to Peddler’s villege to enjoy the day, to have dinner here you will not be disappointed,

Gonna start with the negatives– Walked in for dinner, stood at the host stand for almost 10 minutes before I was approached by someone – either a manager or owner; not certain. When I asked for a table for two, he told me there would be a 15 minute wait. Ordinarily I would find this normal, but the restaurant was HALFFULL. This indicated to me that they were understaffed or the kitchen was overwhelmed. We ended up sitting at the bar. Now the positives– Everything after. Didn’t get much of a sense of the bartender’s personality, however she was a bit busy. The beer on tap was pretty crafty with just a handful of boring domestics. Extensive beer bottle list. Not a bad wine list. And the back bar had a moderate array of whiskies and tequilas. The food was fantastic. Had yesterday’s turkey vegetable soup – fabulous. Followed that with a bison Mediterranean burger. Also delicious. My wife very much enjoyed the fish tacos. Wow! Was quite surprised. Nice job guys.

Buttonwood Grill is my favorite local restaurant. Specifically, I am in love with their burgers. I have tried just about every one and they are consistently delicious. Although you have a choice of alternatives(such as veggie burger), their meat is delicious — it’s a blend of chuck, brisket and short rib. Yum! Seriously… amazing. It comes on a delicious bun with a pickle and side of your choice. I have also tried the fish tacos which were very good AND the warm chocolate chip cookie with malt is so so rich and good. Save room for it! Also, another plus for me is that they are stroller friendly. They offer a wheelchair or stroller entrance on the front/side of the building to get inside. There is also a ramp that goes up to the outside seating area. I love that they offer outside seating in the warmer months as well. Service is always friendly and good. Love this place.

Beautiful outdoor seating on a wooden deck with bar. Service was quick and helpful, and food was good. I got the fish tacos. They had a nice flavor, but I didn’t like the texture of the fish. It should have been«blackened», but was very rubbery. My boyfriend enjoyed his chicken BLT, but didn’t like the mayo on it. I’m not sure if it was advertised with mayo or not. Appetizers were almost as expensive as the meals. Calamari app was 9 dollars, each meal was 11. All in all, would go back.
