The whole family stopped in here to get out of the cold and met Frank(I think that was his name) and he said just«come in and sit» if we want– WOW I mean no push to buy drinks, etc. Just low key friendly bar feeling. He said some folks have complained that the«Irish» part is not really so authentic– WHOCARES .It was warm, friendly and we ended up having some drinks, played darts and just chatted. The icing on the cake was he brought down a sample of the pizza from the upstairs restaurant, «Villa Vito» it was excellent! Mind you, I lived in Manhattan and Chicago for a bit and know good pizza. All in all, don’t let the décor throw you, just relax in the great homey vibe and enjoy!

This pub is in the basement along the main street of New Hope. We came in because there was bag pipe music playing outside and it caught my bf’s attention. Came in and immediately started a conversation with the male bartender they have(cannot remember his name but he is great!) he poured us some drinks that he made for us after we asked him to «just impress us.» My drink was strong! and he was very friendly, the people visiting as well. It is a great bar, with a great vibe for low maintenance people. Only bad was the bartender recommended the Italian restaurant they have upstairs called Villa Vito and it was just awful!
