Back in town for the holidays and needed to find a new place. A little more expensive than what I’m used to in Oakland but I think fairly priced for the area. They did a really thorough and clean job. My nails look great and the massage was really nice too. I’ll definitely come back the next time I’m in town.

Just got a mani-pedi done here and I need to write this review while the details are fresh. I came in around 6:10pm on Friday and asked for a manicure and pedicure(the place closes at 7pm). I later realized that this was a total dick move, but at the time I thought that 40 minutes would be enough time. I’m from NY where most nail salons churn you out in about that time(for a sub-par job, of course). Lucky for me, they took me in. I was expecting the quick and dirty job that I’m used to, but to my surprise, the salon specialist took her time cutting the rough cuticles from my toes, scrubbing my heel(it’s never felt so smooth) and carefully applying the nail color. It was getting close to closing time and the woman hadn’t yet started on my fingers. I started apologizing for coming in so late and she graciously told me not to worry. She then joked that by working late, she was able to avoid an event she didn’t want to go to. The woman(gah, wish I got her name!) went on to do a great job on my hands and nails, cutting about a pound of dead skin from my cuticles. We had a great conversation while doing so and I found out that the women running the place are all relatives that commute in from Philly 6 days a week. Yes, nearly all employees work 6 days a week. She also has two children and Sunday is the only day she can spend quality time with them. We finished up at around 7:30p and she still had to stick around to clean up. Unfortunately they can’t add tip onto your credit card bill and I only had $ 8 in cash — I hope it was enough! I would have happily given double if I had more money on me. Please just come here and give these good people your business.

Gel manicure was very good. Bought a groupon at a great value of $ 15. First time I tried this salon, and I had a very good experience. Staff were friendly, appointment was on time. Lots of gel colors to choose from. The guy who did my nails is named Sana and I thought he did a very good job. I always«pick» at my nails, one reason why I love gel is that when you get a good manicure it lasts. Mine has been going strong for 2 weeks. Definitely plan on going back!

Great salon. I was impressed with their efficiency and the cleanliness of the nail studio. The staff was friendly enough. There was a decent selection of colors, too. Not as many as other salons, but enough to give you a fairly broad spectrum to choose from. I was most pleased with the price(very reasonable for a gel polish change or gel manicure) and speed at which they squeezed me in, given it was a holiday. I would be happy to bring them return business in the future!

Really great service… Anita runs a tight ship. Plenty of colors to pick from and nice pedicures that are not rushed. Love the warm towel treatment. Have been coming here since they opened 7 years ago.

What a great salon. My mom has been going here for years and I went in to get my UV gel nails filled while on vacation. I learned that what I had on wasn’t gel but acrylic with a layer of gel on top. WHAT?! Anita was so great in explaining everything, taking my «UV gel» nails off and putting on shellac that was really gel. Plus their salon was clean, beautiful and had modern touches I have never seen before.
