Applebee’s

Ordered pick up, got a quesadilla burger, chicken finger platter and a fiesta lime chicken. Food was fine until I went to eat my burger, asked for no pink, no pink on order/​receipt, the burger wasn’t just a little pink the entire middle was Raw! Not only was it not the way I ordered but this can make someone real sick!

Food was little over room temp. Steak was tough! Waitress was nice and pleasant. Price was low. But portions were small. Guessing to reflect the price.

Came for a quick lunch before I went to the car dealership. This restaurant looks to be recently renovated and offered a very pleasant environment and friendly staff.
It’s an Applebee’s, so you know what to expect. They have good food for a fair value. I ended up getting the lunch combo with a cup of broccoli soup and half the turkey club house sandwich. The soup was pretty good. Not the best I have had. It was a little watery/​thin, but nice and warm for a somewhat chilly afternoon. The sandwich was good. Pretty sloppy, but with the mayo, bbq sauce, and cheese, it can be expected.
The food came quickly and the bartender was super friendly. You can’t really ask for more.
It’s in a great location. Right off the Interstate and close to shopping and other restaurants.
I’d stop again!

3 ½ stars. I’m not a fan b/​c of past experiences at other Applebee locations, but this visit at this location was above expectations.
I had the Cowboy Burger which was done as ordered, medium, and had a good flavor. The sweet potato fries were ok and not over fried.
The Diet Coke was typical, but I certainly won’t be ordering another at $ 2.79! There are some meals that just require a Diet Coke, but at these prices, it will keep me away from the burger and fries.
The service was super great. It was a week day at the lunch time rush and it was about half full. The server was Sydney and she was as good as it gets. She could easily work at a 5 star restaurant with success.
I agree with some other posts, the booths need to be power washed, as in most restaurants. It takes full commitment to keep a place clean, but it is possible.
I might consider returning for the burger night, but wish I could get a Diet Coke for a happy hour price. I wonder what their other entrees are like?

The table here not that clean tables are sticky and it smells like wet carpet won’t probmley never come back here

This is pretty much your standard Applebee’s. We like to come on Monday nights. starting at 6:00 pm you can get any of the burgers and fries for only 6.99. The guys prefer the bacon burger while I usually get the mushroom burger. Last Monday my burger was extra special… we will call it the WALDO BURGER… if Waldo was a mushroom… at least there was a fair amount of cheese on it. I honestly would prefer a Mushroom burger from Halo Burger which is not far from this location. Oh, one other thing of note, if you are going here BRING A SWEATER. this applies winter and summertime. It is ALWAYS freezing cold in here (and that is not just me, everyone in our party agrees and it is always this way)

My wife and I went to applebees over the weekend and I had the steak. Not only was it small and over cooked we waited 35 minutes for our food. Server lacked knowledge of the menu and did not check back with us to see how our food was. We will not be back.

Food tastes like it’s from the frozen section at Gordon Food Service

I have been a regular customer of this particular restaurant for years and found in the past it has been one of the best Applebee’s in Michigan –yes I have tried many but none as good. I have one concern that will have me revisit this review. They have changed managers and staff recently. About 90% of their staff from 1 year ago is gone and there are many newly hired wait persons. My last visit a few nights ago had me sitting 5 minutes and totally ignored so I simply left and ate elsewhere. I will give them the benefit and return before passing final judgment having had such good experiences in the past. I must admit I have some concerns about service from some of those Applebee newbees.

Four of us ate there recently and both pairs of us had the two for $ 20 menu. My sirloin was tasty and cooked like I ordered it, medium. The sides were both delicious. The other pair both enjoyed their Oriental Chicken Salads. I’ve never had a problem with the food here. It is what it is… a solid meal at a reasonable price.
I will say our waitress was first class. Attentive, but not overly so and friendly. She obviously knew what she was doing and she was five star all the way.
My main complaint here mirrors a lot of other restaurants in northern climates that really don’t know how to manage the temperature of their dining rooms — it was waaaay too cold. In fact, all four of us rushed through dinner because we were uncomfortably cold. The servers love it, I’m sure, but the customers, judging by the number of customers who kept raincoats on, etc. were not enjoying the temps. As a result, we’ll probably go elsewhere next time because it was not comfortable.

Pretty good experience at this location. It was nice and clean, the waitress provided excellent service and did more than I could have asked for. We both wanted the blackened sirloin & garlicky green beans. The sirloin was cooked perfectly and medium just like we both had requested. The only problem was that we recieved carrots & broccoli instead of green beans. When we mentioned this to the waitress she immediately made sure they cooked green beans as well for us and provided it to us without any extra charge.
We still had some room left and ended up finishing the meal with the triple meltdown chocolate. It was really good and I will definitely get that again.

I gotta admit it, I’ve been an Applebee’s hater for years. Warm beer and cold food DID seem to be the norm and this location was no exception.
But… I have been to this location twice in the past couple weeks and I gotta say it has improved immensely! Both visits brought us warm service and food! I would go so far as to say it tasted freshly prepared. Our beers were ice cold and the service was prompt. They have also eliminated the majority of the cheesy décor. I will be back for sure. I can’t believe I actually just said that…

Warm Beer and Cold food! Need I say more? (oh! come on, you know I’m going to!) I do hate those restaurant’s that have food server’s bring your food when it’s up. Rather than your own server. Those places that serve like this, should all be closed! How can your server know if you would like anything else,(or don’t have any silverware!!) if they have no idea that you have already been served your order??? I do not think this a successful way to gain customer satisfaction!
