Callie Reeves was the stylist I used for my wedding day hair for myself and my bridesmaids. She did an amazing job on all of us and in a timely manner. She was so nice and beyond helpful during the stress of the big day. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a stylist for your big day to use her.

First time and I’ll keep coming back! I made a random decision that day to get my hair colored. They were able to book me that afternoon :) My stylist was Jayke and he was amazing! Super sweet, very honest about what I wanted to do with my hair and the results of it. I was there for about 3 hours(I had a lot going on with my hair process) but everyone was super sweet and friendly. Was able to enjoy a nice glass of wine while I chatted with my stylist. The salon itself is very well designed and kept nicely. Would definitely recommend it to a friend!

CONSUMERSBEWARE… DONOTUSETHISSALON. The owner(s) of this salon do not stand behind their word and it appears they do not carry liability insurance to pay for any injuries sustained at their salon. My husband bought me a spa package for our anniversary which I went in to «enjoy» back in January, 2014. The result was a trip to the Emergency Room with 5 stitches in my big toe from a bad pedicure. The salon owner told me they would pay for my ER expenses but to date they still owe $ 1043.50+ and now my personal credit is in jeopardy of being negatively affected if this bill is not paid by the end of this month. In August they mailed a check for this amount, but I was later informed by the hospital that the check bounced. Imagine my surprise that they can’t even cover a check for $ 1043!!! To date, they have been unresponsive to any attempts to contact them and resolve this issue. They make look«professional» on the outside but don’t be fooled by appearances — they have not acted in a professional manner and do not deserve your hard earned money. I would recommend you look elsewhere for your«professional» services!

Being a guy I assume a lot of girls will take my opinion with a grain of salt. I’ve always gone to salons for my relatively basic haircut. I moved to South Lyon and checked out a few places, but Bella Scappare definitely was the best of all of them. I even cheated on them once with a barber shop because I totally didn’t feel like spending 25 – 30 bucks on a haircut, won’t make that mistake again. Emily is the stylist I always see and she is wonderful. It’s nice going to see her as she is super friendly and easy to talk to. I really like the atmosphere inside as well. It’s very clean and has a sort of rustic, elegant, hip décor. Unlike other salons, you walk in and don’t have to wait. The girls are always ready and don’t turn your hair appointment into a whole day ordeal. Like many places they don’t take tips on a credit card, so be sure to bring cash or a debit card to take money out of the atm.

Bella Scappare gift certicates are only valid for 6 months. My gift certificate has expired and they said they will honor half the value. What a rip off! Michigan law states gift card and gift certificates must be valid for one year. Please DONOT patronize this establishment!

Sooo glad I found this salon! This is the Scappare that was previously located at the south end of South Lyon, but has relocated to New Hudson just off I-96(very accessible!!). When I called to get some info this morning, the receptionist was patient and friendly(where a lot of salons seem to go wrong) and answered all of my questions. When I came in, I was immediately offered a beverage. The inside of the salon looks great. Modern and clean, but comfortable. They have a super cool sort of montage of mirrors up high on their back wall and the stylist’s stations were made from vintage/salvaged dressers and vanities. I dig it. My appointment started a couple minutes late, but less than ten so I didn’t consider it a big deal. Especially since I was done quicker than more other salons! I went in to have more blonde highlights added for my tropical wedding in two weeks(wanted lots of time to moisturize between now and then since I have fine hair) and also to get my bangs trimmed up. My stylist, Brandi, was friendly and funny and kept things moving at a great pace. She did a LOT of foils for the price and they came out amazing! They don’t look stripey, they blend very well, they compliment the existing color and most importantly they are EXACTLY how I wanted them to look. I don’t know about brunettes, but this is something blondes are desperate for — a stylist that can do the RIGHTBLONDE! The woman that did my shampoo was friendly and gentle on my scalp, also. My style, though very simple, was up-to-date and looked just how I wanted without much direction from myself. Overall, I am so thrilled that even though I went to a new salon, my hair color will be perfect for my wedding. I will definitely be going back to see Brandi! Also, I have paid almost twice as much for work that was on par with Brandi’s and took twice as long to create so I consider Scappare a great value. Lastly, I had some questions about waxing and requested their spa person call me when they had time. She called me within a few hours and patiently and knowledgeably answered each question. I’ve already booked that appointment for next week! All in all, it’s a good find. Not a super cheap salon, but not overpriced like most decent salons in the Novi area. You definitely get your money’s worth. I will be a returning client!

Stellar experience. The salon is lovely, the staff is delightful. I love my hair. I have had recent bad experiences elsewhere and am so pleased to find a nice salon with great services.
