High Tech Car Wash & Lube

These guys did a fantastic job washing my m3. I don’t get these bad reviews written below. They are complaining about things having nothing to do with the car wash itself. I only go to hand car washes and this one is the best, if not the only one in the area. Thumbs up!

I went here today for an oil change and car wash. The sign said oil change for $ 35 and when I came to pick it up, they charged me $ 75!!! I asked why, and they had put synthetic oil in my car without asking me first! It is completely unacceptable and rude to upgrade a service without asking the customer first. And the man I was dealing with was very nasty about it. I would not recommend this place and definitely will not be coming back. That kind of service is terrible and sneaky.

Had my car detailed bye them thay took there time and my car never looked so good I will be coming back thanks again.

The absolute worst car wash I’ve been too, not just because the wat itself was poorly done but when I asked the people to wipe downs few areas they missed, it was as if they were upset to do that and after that I still had soap suds all under the doors of my car and dust all over my dash. I spoke to the manager who was more interested in making excuses on why he didn’t do a good job rather than just cleaning it properly. What kind of a manager does that? If a customer is not satisfied with the work, DO THE WORK OR GIVE HIM A REFUND. there are other car washes on the island that do a phenomenal job and make no excuses. Never coming back to this place.

Super slow because they’re working on internal stuff while taking more cars on line. I didn’t think I’d have to wait nearly as log as I did. Not gonna lie, it was more than a little frustrating.
I don’t know anything about care washes. So I guess their prices are okay. Maybe a little expensive but I don’t know. The staff was decently nice They have a huge selection of things to buy for your car.
Overall I guess they did a good job. My car looks better than it did. But when they were drying the trunk there was some leaves and debris that got knocked loose. Some even fell into the trunk and the woman left it there instead on knocking it into the floor. So three stars for that!

This place charges more than they advertise… The sign outside says rainx for $ 3.00 but the price on the receipt (and what you’re being charged) is $ 5.00. We brought it up with the cashier and they acknowledged the difference but still insisted on charging us $ 5.00. Shady business, definitely not returning.

Horrible car wash! $ 34.00 for my SUV and with the exception of the outside being cleaner it doesn’t look like they did anything at all on the inside.
The people working are just not nice and they really don’t seem to care. When I tried to point out what was wrong they walked away and went to work on the next car that just came out.
If I was not on my lunch ½ hour I would have went inside. When I got back to my office and called the girl who answered the phone kept hanging up on me and pretended we were getting cut off.
I’m so angry right now.

Unfortunately this is the closest car wash to me. I have been here with a number of different people and our experiences do not differ.
They ask you if you want a scent after your wash, never give it.
No one bothers to say hello and the man who usually takes the order has an attitude like everyone owes him money.
The manager doesn’t care. I mean he walks around like he owns the best car wash on Long Island. I might have to mention Unilocal to him next time I see him. If the man behind the counter all the time is the manager that is. Since no one seems to be in charge there.

Idk about all the bad reviews I had literally one of the best car washes ever! the guy took his time they even gave me a little extra for it being my first time ! I was very impressed, yes a little pricey and I got the basic for like $ 25 compared to queens where the works cost 25 but it was above standard the guy literally took his time cleaned every nook and cranny, he made sure to go harder on the area where some dummy who couldn’t park scuffed my car and got it out I mean from top to bottom inside and out, I had gone to another place in great neck that cost me $ 40 and was appalled by the shitty job !! Needless to say I left very very happy and it’s Friday

Just had a carwash here and it’s the worst carwash ever! I basically got everything for the car. I was watching it while the car was going through and noticed that the triple foam wash never went on. Told the woman up front and she took it off the price. When the car was ready I noticed the carpets weren’t fully vacuumed and the inside wasn’t even wiped down. Horrible job in my opinion.

Worst car wash I’ve ever been to! They did a terrible job on the interior of my car! Should have asked for my money back!

They did not clean the car the store was nicer then the car wash. the car had all dirt on it. we told them and they gave us attitude. do not go unless management there. rude…we paid 40.00 we wish that it would be better. no tip.

The car wash was great but the oil change cost $ 56 and when my car was in another shop for an inspection a week later I was informed they shorted me over a quart of oil.

If you catch these guys in a good day, your dollar will go a long way. That is, if you catch em on a good day.
This place is completely hand wash, which is a plus. Although it is a little expensive. They normally dry and clean the car off well. Enough to feel good about the purchase. What makes it great is if you mention and point out the scuffs near your bumper, they will put this solution that will literally remove it right before your eyes! It’s amazing. And it’s normally free. Just ask.
They do a waxing job too but that’s like $ 300. That can keep that. It’s not that serious!

Well i pull my car up to the service men
guy says what ya like to do?
i say plain car wash. maybe a lil tire shine .
He hands me the ticket
I go in. grab a lil air fresh tree
And proceed to pay i hand the clerk the stub/​ticket
She says $ 32.
Huh???
i only got a car wash i said .
She says
Well sir you have an SUV .
Ok??? $ 32???
ok so i pay not gonna fuss
«Ya get me once» i said to myself .
she says look for a coupon in the mail or something that way you can save $ 2 (um lol .)
I walk out guy says your ready .
Im like ok wait. how in gods green EARTH are you done with my car i tell em???
he says «well its done» .
i walk over first i noticed water dripping everywhere still had soap bubbles in it. interior was eghhhh
So i said look! thats not cool .
Also did you put tire shine?
he says «did you pay for full service???»
ok done. NEVER AGAIN !! TRIED AND FAILED ONE MORE TIME.
F THIS PLACE ILL DRIVE TO THE NEXT ONE DOWN THE ROAD …

Awful or should I say none existent customer service. Took an hour to change my oil in the middle of Thursday afternoon … Totally over charged me without even consulting me. I have been coming here for years after today I will not be returning

I thought this car wash was pretty good. Went there a few times and the car came out spotless.
I would give 5 stars if they were more affordable or had some kind of unlimited plan.

Not that great, but there are only a few local car washes to choose from. Their belt/​chain broke down as my car was getting on, so I was there for a while. When they finished cleaning/​drying my car, the driver seat and control panel were wet. Also, I noticed soap residue on the car when I got home. Not worth the $ 25 I paid.

Aweful! They scratched the hood of my car n did a horrible job and oil was overpriced!

This is a place that you go to if you are already pretty good at maintaining the cleanliness of your car.
This is not a place that you go to if it’s been awhile and your car needs a good scrub. That was the condition of my car when I took it in.
I got the Rain-​X hand wash (~$ 30). The exterior was perfectly fine — they did a lovely job getting the dirt off. The interior just wasn’t that improved. The dash and steering wheel was noticeably shinier. However, what good does that do when there’s still grime in the corners and hair/​grit on the seats and floors?
Meh.
