Hollywood Djs

I will never hire this group — unfortunately, my wedding venue handed out my phone number to every one of their affiliated vendors and I get phone calls (and voicemails) at least once a week from these people (and have been receiving these calls for 3 months now). If you need to cold call me THAT many times, you’re definitely not that great, and the reason I don’t pick up or return your call is because I’m not interested.

i hired hollywood dj’s to do my wedding. they also do all the other things you would need to plan your event. unfortunately the only thing done exactly as we asked was the lighting in the room and that was up to the reception hall to get correct. the florist he suggested took forever to get in contact with us and when we finally sat down with him i was informed that the first seven of my choices he was unable to obtain. since it was too late to go anywhere else i had no choice but to leave it in the florists hands. the dj was given a list of our song preferences in advance and we made it very clear that dance music was to be played the most. i also said there was to be absolutely no «elevator music» such as kenny g and yet that is exactly what he put on during the dinner. we gave him a few irish and a few oldies choices to add to the mix. he overplayed the last two and didn’t play the dance music until a half an hour before the end of the event. he also argued with me when i requested the song to dance with my father, insisting that i was doing it at the wrong time. it was still the happiest day of my life, but that had NOTHING to do with hollywood dj’s.

These guys came to my bar mitzvah, so I’m speaking from experience here. They will do a pretty good job of being the most corny individuals in the world. But I mean that in a sincere way. There job was to be all honkey-​dorey and get people to act stupid and have fun, and I think they did that pretty well. I would recommend using these guys for any type of kids party, but I can’t really tell if they would be good for a more mature affair.
