I’ve been to Manny’s on and off for the last 5 – 6 years and have always gotten a solid haircut from a variety of their barbers(I don’t have a designated, go-to guy yet given I wasn’t local for the last few years). I most recently walked in and got JAY as my barber. Did exactly what I asked for and was pleasant to deal with. He was able to deliver a very clean, tight fade with a seamless transition. Great atmosphere, great barbers and great price($ 17) — can’t go wrong in my book. I recently tried a «competitor» in the area and got a horrible haircut. Will be going back to Manny’s for sure. Right next to PC Richard on Hillside Ave.

I’ve been coming here for the past two to three years and here is what I have concluded. This barbershop is one of the best, but most expensive, places around. However, nothing is perfect. From my experiences, most of the barbers here are always talking to each other during haircuts and they even stop to pick up the phone. It is very unprofessional to stop mid haircut just to carry on a conversation. I’m not paying you to talk. Most of the barbers also screw up my hair(uneven sections, not straight, etc.), probably due to distractions and/or just an overall lack of care towards their patrons. They definitely don’t [even try] make me feel like I’m special and barely even converse with me or my brother. Ella is the only reason I continue to visit this barbershop. She is the most friendly, gentle, and professional barber there. She never ruins my hair, doesn’t stop mid cut to talk, and loves to talk, providing an actual 1 on 1 experience. Jay is also good in that sense. However, his haircuts aren’t always that great. Alex has repeatedly ruined my hair, gotten distracted, went to answer his phone, and did not give me a good experience. The other barbers let people who come in after me go ahead of me. If it weren’t for Ella, I’d give this place either 1 or 2 stars and I’d never come back here.

One of the cleanest and friendliest barber shops in Nassau, I ONLY come here Even if your barber isn’t there, they are all very talented and will give you a great haircut. I’ve been coming here for 10 years, and they’re amazing. They do have new people sometimes lol, I would stay away, just be careful hahaa. Manny’s also has 2 beautiful ladies who specialize in women’s haircuts, highlights, etc. but they are just as adept with men’s haircuts as well. They have about 10 – 12 barbers at any time, so even if they’re busy, you’ll be out in half an hour. Current price is $ 17 for men’s haircut. Saturdays can be busy. Located in the P.C. Richard strip of stores by Lakeville and Hillside. There’s a Nail salon next door, so bring your girlfriend and treat her!

Have been coming here for years, but I just went to a «high end» barber shop for a change; the place had all the bells and whistles, but the cut was terrible. Left me wishing I had gone to good ol’ manny’s. I think Joe is the best barber in there. Really tight fades and great scissor work. If you can’t get a cut from him, the rest of the barbers are great too.

I have been coming to Manny’s for years. They are here 7 days a week, no appointment necessary. The place is always clean, updated every couple of years and not a high turnover of hair stylists. If you have a favorite you can be sure they will be here when you return. Every time I enter I receive a warm welcome from the staff, especially Manny the owner. If you want an affordable good haircut this is the place to go. Come try Manny’s, you won’t be disappointed.

Excellent barbershop. I’ve been going there for approximately 10 years. My barber Avi is not only a great barber, but he’s friendly and helpful. I use crutches or a wheelchair and everyone is extremely accommodating. It’s my neighborhood shop, always clean and inviting. You’ll find a mix of customers including fathers with kids, teenagers, and older folks like me — a real neighborhood feeling. Manny’s reminds me of the barbershops I went to as a child in the 1950’s. One long row of barbers and plenty of seats for waiting. Back in the 50’s though we didn’t have flat screen TVs. They have plenty of barbers and no appointments are necessary. Although you can just stop in and get your haircut right away, I prefer to stick with Avi. So sometimes I may have a short wait. I switched from an expensive hair stylist to an inexpensive barber. The haircuts are just as good. With the money I save, I can afford to go once a month and sometimes treat myself to an old-fashioned shave. And no matter what, they finish with a relaxing neck and shoulder massage. I highly recommend Manny’s.

Great service. Open Sundays(actually every day) and barbers are friendly. I’ve been getting my haircut by Eddie and Avi. They pay attention to detail and always do a nice job. Been going there for a few years now.

Great, dependable barber shop. Exactly what you expect from a classic barber shop. A row of chairs with guys(and one girl) wearing the same jacket pumping through customers. I go to Avi every time(they like to build a relationship and client base). Avi is great, really nice guy, does a good job, and always seems to be there! It is quick and reasonably priced. They do a short shoulder massage at the end, nice little touch.

This place is the best. Eddie has been cutting my hair for over ten years. I recently moved to PA and I can’t find anyone as good. This place is clean, attentive and know how to cut hair. What else do you need? Been to 5 different places in PA so far and none compare to Mannys.

Anyone know where Al from Manny’s went? They tell me he opened his own place in Babylon, but they won’t give up the name or number. He was THEBEST for fades and high and tight’s. If anyone knows where he’s at, please post it. If anyone can recommend a good guy at Manny’s for those types of cut’s I would appreciate it. I have had two really bad attempts recently(post Al) at getting a high and tight.

A good barber shop in this part of the 516, Who knew? A friend tipped me off to this place after horrific experience(s) with other barbers in the area I came in hoping for something better. My boy Eddy hooked me up with a good haircut. Friendly, attentive and got the cut done quick. A little more expensive than your usual($ 14), but they know what they’re doing.

Manny’s is a solid place to get a haircut for Queens and Long Island fellas. I tried it out after my old place wasn’t up to snuff anymore and wasn’t disappointed. The place is chock full of Russian guys who all speak in Russian while they cut your hair and all seem to do a good job. My guy is Sam and he comes recommended. A basic haircut will only run you 11 bucks plus tip and they do a solid job. Nothing fancy, but you’ll be out in 20 minutes with a decent haircut.
