Catered again for third holiday party at work for 100+ people. Enlai delivered on time, hot food. Staff was very happy!

Best Chinese Food in Will County. When you call and they say 10 minutes they mean it. Always a good hot, fresh meal. Egg rolls are killer, shrimp fried rice also killer. General Tzos is good but not great. Avoid fried shrimp appetizer, only bad thing I’ve encountered since 2008. New Bourban chicken is much better than than crap on a stick at the mall. My wife likes the beef and broccoli and beef and mushrooms and she is honestly picky. This is tasty Chinese take out that is few and far between.

My favorite Chinese food in New Lenox! The beef with garlic sauce is my favorite dish. The food is always fast and fresh and tastes great. They have beef egg rolls rather than shrimp. The family that owns this is extremely nice and I feel great giving my business to them. They are genuinely thankful and kind people.

I really enjoy this food, but my husband thinks it is low quality. I think it is tasty and worth trying. We always get the combo specials when we go.

Quick and solid food. Nothing special but the food is good and quick. All one can really ask for.

I usually hop around three different Chinese Restaurant in the area because I like certain dishes and very picky on how they are made. For example, Mr. Mo’s because I could use a buy one get one off dish with a coupon once a month but that’s the only good thing about it to me even if everyone around New Lenox raves about it. Then there’s Dragon Palace because they have by far the best Beef with broccoli and their egg roll comes with their lunch special. En Lai, on the other hand, I could get my favorite Mongolian Beef (so good), chicken Mei fun and Lo mein (ask to easy on the oil because they do tend to over do it). Their Beef and Brocolli is as good as Dragon Palace, and since my children loves their chicken on stick, it’s a convenient stop for me.
In addition, the place seem to be always clean every time I visit and the people here are very friendly unlike the two places I mentioned!

I have had food from here for at least 7 years now. The food has always been pretty good.
I always get the General Tso chicken, so that is pretty much what I based my review on.
Good egg rolls, good quality chicken, great taste and consistency, friendly people working here.
Some advice: when you order the dish «extra spicy» from here, it is actually «extra spicy» unlike most places.

Well, since there was a good review and a negative review of this place, I decided to vist and split the vote. My vote is… ehhh.
The positive: They have an extensive lunch menu for $ 4.95 and didn’t charge me more for making the pork egg foo young into veggie egg foo young (which Rising Sun sometimes does and sometimes doesn’t, even though their lunch menu just says «egg foo young»). They added lots of veggies, including water chestnuts, broccoli and carrots. The meal also came with a soda, which made it a really good deal. My portion was huge and I liked that they put the gravy in a separate container so my food didn’t get soggy on my way back to the office.
The negative: I’ve never had a lunch special not come with an egg roll before (though I probably would have realized this if I read the menu more carefully). Also, my egg foo young was really greasy. I probably should have taken it out of its container and blotted it before I poured the gravy on. Yes, I know egg foo young is a fried dish, but I’ve never had it this oily before.
In the end, you get what you pay for with the lunch specials. No matter how you look at it, $ 4.95 is a good price for a ton of Chinese food and a soda. That said, please lighten up on the grease!

If I could write this review an give no stars I would! I should have turned around and left when I noticed the massive pile of premade egg rolls sitting near the fryer that they drop in the oil when you order. You will get a hot egg roll, but who knows how long it sat there. I ordered Singapore noodles which is a dry dish with thin rice noodles, shrimp, chicken, green onions, and a nice hint of curry. I have eaten this dish countless times at Many Chinese restaurants, and I have never seen it as greasy as it was this day. Oil all throughout the dish. Long story short– I threw up the meal just as soon as I had finished it. The oil made my stomach turn. I have been to the en lai in joliet off of route 59, and that one was much better.
If bulimia is your thing-​go for it!

Nice, big menu! They even have an «asparagus» section, which I don’t think I’ve ever seen on Chinese menu before. I didn’t try anything from it, but I was intrigued. Maybe next time. (Yes, they’ll be a next time).
I ordered for pickup, and it was ready in 10 minutes. I really liked the mu shoo shrimp, although the pancakes were stuck together and some weren’t usable. I just ate most of it with the white rice that came with it, too. The boyfriend got beef with oyster sauce, which he enjoyed, and the sliced roast pork appetizer, which he also enjoyed.
The shrimp toast was a bit soggy, so next time I’ll go with the crab rangoon– I didn’t this time because it comes 10 to an order, which seemed excessive. Their prices are cheap, even by Chinese take-​out standards, and I found the fact that an 11-​year-​old was running the cash register charming, not creepy.
