Neighborhood Rooter Express

Brady is a con artist and has horrible customer service. I first called Neighborhood Rooter Express and chose them because they offered the lowest price when calling for quotes. I was told it would be between $ 220 — $ 245 and that coupons were available online. When making the appointment, I spoke with Brady about 5pm. I asked if he could come later that evening or the next day, he insisted he would there that same evening. When he arrived, I mentioned water was backed up in the tub, but he claimed the issue was only in the sewer line outside. After only about 15 minutes and not entering the house, he said that he was all done and that it would be $ 350. Even after telling him the quote that I was given over the phone, he basically pressured/​intimidated me into agreeing at that amount. I did not want to argue with this man in my home. Before paying, my wife informed me that water was still in backed up in the tub. He attempted to clear the blockage, but didn’t. He said his «friend» could come get it for a couple hundred dollars, but he did not have the time. He was in a rush to leave, even though he insisted on coming that night and this is a 24 hour company. The price of $ 350 was given before the failed attempt to clear the blockage in the tub. Days following the service, I called back to get a quote on how much this service should call, each time Brady answered the phone and gave different answers, of $ 250 or $ 275. When I asked him why then was I charged $ 350, he said it’s because I have a different size line. –_​–
HORRIBLE customer service. There was no attempt to help resolve this issue. He said he would have his boss contact me and I am still waiting on that to happen. DO NOT use this company.

Brady is a con artist! He overcharged me for service to my toilet. Before he started the job we agreed that he would rod out my toilet, replace the wax ring, etc., (he also added a charged me for his gas cost). He didn’t write specifics on the receipt and when I called several weeks later because the same problem came back, he claimed he didn’t remember me and that he would have to charge me $ 200 more because of his mistake. He was extremely rude, nasty and his work is subpar. Don’t waste your time.
