After having 10+ years of prescriptions filled here, I will think twice. My youngest has an allergy to dyes that are added to the meds. So we notified them like 8 years ago when this occurred. Recently, I dropped a prescription off for her and made sure that we would have no interactions… the pharmacy asst. said she did not think there was any issue… but she would double check with the pharmacist. This was for a new type of medicine, so I was not sure. According to her computer nothing was coming up. So after waiting 10+ min, it was ready and I went up to the counter to pick it up. The cashier seemed surprised when I asked to have the pharmacist double check. So the pharmacist came up and was put off that I questioned anything. Turns out– they substituted it for something that they added dye to. I said that we were not paying for that and she needed to contact my daughters MD if there were any questions. The pharmacist had me wait there until she had time to call the doctor(there was no one else there). The doctor confirmed what I had stated… someone did not catch the warning in the system. Very disappointed!
