I went to a hole in the wall place for my eyelashes and they fell out 2 days later. I went to seva and the nice women there fixed me up for a nice price

This is my favorite place to get my eyebrows done in my area. I think Hema is one of the BEST threader I have ever been to. And I have been to my fair share of desi ladies that do eyebrows. She always make my eyebrows exactly the way I ask for it. So I leave happy after going to her. They end up looking even, neat, and there is no damage, cuts, or uneven hair. The eyebrows cost eight dollars. They also offer wax of body hair and facial hair, facials, massage and manicures and pedicures. I think they also offer eyebrow, and eyelash tinting.

I came in on a Friday afternoon to get my eyebrows threaded. There was no wait. This should have been a sign of things to come. You have to go through an arduous registration process on their computer. This seemed a bit ridiculous. Name, phone number, etc. Really? I just want my brows done! During the process, she seemed to be doing a fine job. She kept placing my hands where she needed me to pull my skin. Ok. I can do that. What I did not realise at the time was that she ended up ripping out some skin on the underside of my left brow. This burned for about three days. Ugh. Hopefully the skin will grow back without a problem. Oh and if you want additional services, ask. I was incredibly disappointed that she didn’t ask about my upper lip and getting rid of that hair. Oh well. Live. Learn. Don’t get threaded in the Wal-Mart.

There was recently some confusion here over a gift card. It has been straight. I find the services to excellent and would have changed this to a 5-star review if corporate had made effort to contact me in any way. They have a lot of potential but without some solid corporate backbone they will never attract clientele willing to spend money regularly.

I was very disappointed in the customer service I received here. I had tried this salon around Christmastime and got a decent pedicure at that time. I had $ 12 remaining on the gift certificate I had used, so I went in to redeem the rest today and get another pedicure. Because pedicures are $ 20, I was not allowed to use the gift certificate. The worker apparently did not know how(or else it wasn’t possible to) use the gift certificate and then pay the difference in cash! They also refused to give my money back. There are other great places for mani/pedi in New Lenox, so there is no need to return to this one with the bad customer service!

I went in to this nail salon to get a spa mani/pedi a few days ago and had the worst mani/pedi’s I have ever received. I could have done better myself. I found out as she was polishing my finger nails that the girl doing the treatment was not a nail tech but the wax person. She is not trained on doing nails other than what her manager showed her. I would not have had her work on my hands had I been able to see the paint job on my feet. I did not want to pull my feet closer to my eyes to see but after looking at my hands, I then looked at my toes further and what a crappy job was done. The person who did my nails used a cuticle pusher to scrape my toe and finger nails from the middle of my nail to the cuticle. After I removed the polish to redo the job on myself, I saw how badly my nails are damaged. I will never go back to this salon. The very small amount of money I saved by going here was not worth it. Dont waste your time or risk damaging your nails with Seva. Or at least, make sure the person doing your nails is actually a nail tech.

Great place! I got my eye brows threaded and it didn’t hurt as I expected. Everyone was super friendly and the place was neat and clean. :) Better than expected!
