I’ve been coming here for a couple years on the regular now, but it’s never too late to write a review. The food is good, and I mostly been treated well. I would’ve given them 4 stars, but there’s been a couple of rare locations where I had a hard time with some of the staff, but is always been handled in the proper manner.

Walked in around 2:30ish. Although there were many cars in the parking lot it was pretty empty. We were greeted almost immediately by a smiling man who was picking up a package for the boss. He asked if we’d like a table or booth, I said whatever’s easier for you. He told us to take a seat in the middle booth and he’d be right over. He came right over, introduced himself… His name was Dan. He asked us about our baby & how old she was and then went on to tell us about his daughter. I love when servers get personal because I always feel right at home. He made sure he took care of us the entire time and we never had to ask for anything. I ordered the Santa Fe salad, AMAZING. I don’t even eat meat but the chicken was made to perfection, just how I remember liking it in the past years. My boyfriend ordered the bacon ranch quesadillas and loved them! I was having the hardest day today thinking about my brother who recently passed. I came here to take my mind off things and I can’t tell you how thankful and appreciative I am to have had him as our server. He took great care of us & this review, me speaking to your manager & tipping you almost 100% will never be enough. Thank you thank you THANKYOUDAN, awesome job! God bless your daughter. Best time I’ve had at chillis. The food came out within 5 minutes of ordering, beers were exactly what I needed and FIVESTAR outstanding service. Promote this man!

I love this Chili’s. This is the my favorite chain restaurant in the area… all because of the wonderful service I receive at the bar on a weekly basis… Mary Ellen is the most wonderful server in the area and takes care of everyone she comes in contact with. I wouldn’t even bother going to any other chain restaurants in the area. PS… Happy hour ALLDAY Sunday — and 3 – 6 and 9-close every other day. Happy Hour Prices: $ 5 special’s on certain items(appetizers, wings, etc) and 22oz beers for ~$ 3.5016oz for ~$ 2:50 ADVICE: 1) Sit in the bar area. 2) Ask for Mary Ellen. 3) Enjoy yourself!

I went here for a coworkers going away dinner otherwise I would never go here. The food was ok and the service was horrible. They forgot some of my friends appetizers never refilled our waters and just kept messing up orders. I will not ever come here again.

The service was great and the menu has improved! The new tablets on the table are a lot of fun for playing games and make it super easy to pay. The food was very fresh and hot. Excellent experience for a chain restaurant.

David was our server, he was amazing– at one point my partner asked for a refill of her soda pop my mouth was full so I couldn’t answer — he actually thought of me and brought me a water just incase! He was super attentive and in a great mood! The only thing I didn’t like with this trip to Chilis was the new addition of the Ziosk — this is supposed to be family time, a time to go out and sit down together and have conversation — to interact with your server and feel like you’ve been taken care of(that is why it is customary to tip) not play apps and order through a computer. I’m disappointed in this addition and I’m glad that David didn’t need it to provide us with the atmosphere and experience we were expecting. I actually didn’t order an alcoholic drink because we were told you had to order through the Ziosk and I refused to make a glorified iPad part of my dining experience. Thank you David!

Previous to a couple of days ago I had never been to a chilies. We get there and the host couldn’t decide where to put us(by the way it’s slow). He was shy and anxious, very unusual to any host I’d had before. Once seated we got a nice waitress who for the love of life wouldn’t stop coming by every 5 minutes. Constantly«are you ready» and having to say«no just a few more minutes». Once ready she took our orders and brought the food out pretty fast. The food was pretty good. I’d give this s better rating if the waitress was less pushy. Oh! And the«best» part, as we were eating a dead fly was found in my husbands food. So gross! Once the waitress was notified she removed the fly but didn’t offer any replacements or anything. Really??? Easy to say we won’t be going back any time soon.

I’ve always liked this place, glad it’s the same west or east coast. My wife loves the watermelon margaritas.

Our visit to this location began on a sour note. Busy Monday should not be a problem for a chain restaurant… you should expect extra traffic on a Monday holiday when you are located off I95, next to a shopping center. We came because it was close but I won’t be back to this location. The hostess took almost 10 minutes to acknowledge us, and while the waitress was speedy, pleasant and helpful, I am glad we didn’t need anything because she was taking more than ½ of the tables in the dining area. I am not knocking the food. it was flavorful and quick. But the atmosphere is empty and I am glad the hostess was not our waitress… she was never at the door when people came in, and our poor waitress even had to deal with questions from people waiting for tables while she was in the midst of delivering a full tray of food!

We stopped in on our way home from a trip to Providence. We were seated immediately, our table was clean, the atmosphere was nice. The waiter was very fast, and very informative. The food was tasty, and affordable. I highly recommend the new sliders with the avocado. Very tasty!

We visited this Chili’s location while on a getaway to Mystic(it was between lunch and diner hours and it felt like every restaurant in Mystic was closed at that time). We ordered the dinner special for 2 for $ 35, so it wasn’t too expensive. I had the Cajun Chicken and Shrimp Pasta and it was a little bland. Their molton lava cake was pretty good, but I had better. The only thing I liked was their margarita, and I’m glad that it was included in the dinner special. There’s a lot of parking in the front. This location is right by the I-95 so an easy drive to get to.

I’ve been here a few times because friends like it. I’m not much into franchise restaurants, because everything tastes frozen and the drinks taste like mixer. But, it’s relatively cheap and family friendly, which is where franchises like this tend to excel. If you get take out, double-check your order, because they mess it up more than half the time… no exaggeration. It’s fine for what it is, but I don’t go there when I pick the restaurant.

I’m writing this review solely based against other Chili’s so people visiting know this place is actually pretty good. I’ve visited here a number of times now throughout the years and have always been satisfied by the quality of service and food. So hopefully this review clears up and out ways the ridiculously low rating it had when I wrote this.

Honestly, this place does not even deserve one star. I came here with my husband and two of his friends. We arrived a little after 5 so that we could take advantage of their Happy Hour which occurs between 4 and 6. We sat in the bar area and were greeted by Jo-Ann. If you EVER eat at this Chili’s and your server is Jo-Ann, for the love of man-kind, please go elsewhere. Run as fast as you can!!! I ordered a non-alcoholic beverage(preggers), my husband and his friend ordered the beer on special, and my husband’s other friend ordered the margarita on special. At this point, it is just about 5:30. It was 5:45 before we got our drinks. So, naturally, all the guys chug their beverages so they can order one more before Happy Hour ends. They order, and receive their drinks just as 6 approaches. Jo-Ann was going soooo slow on purpose. We had also ordered chips for the table and that took about 15 minutes to get to us. When we ordered our meals, I ordered another appetizer for the table. I am not kidding you– 30 minutes later, our appetizer came out. Then about 10 minutes later, we got our meals. Jo-Ann was really dropping the ball on this one. She was bi-polar as well! Sometimes she was pleasant while others who was giving us dirty looks. Overall, our dinner at Chili’s took over 2 hours. 2HOURS!!! INSANE!!! Jo-Ann… waitressing is not for you…

Why anyone would write a Unilocal review of a Chili’s is beyond me — after all, it’s a chain. And all chains are pretty much the same. Applebees is Chili’s is Olive Garden. All the food is(or tastes) precooked. It’s all loaded with cheese and bacon and deep fried before getting covered in a cream sauce to ensure it has some sort of flavor. Yet, we went here for lunch today. There was a fire at this location, and we were sort of hoping that maybe all the old traces of crappy chain food were burned up in that smoldering ash. Well…err…nope. Still the same old stuff with a brand new look. The reason for the extra star is for the décor – the inside of this place looks really nice since the remodel and they get points for paying homage to the Navy Base by having a giant chili pepper riding a sub in the artwork by the front door.(My hubbs is a submariner, so maybe I’m just biased.) But aside from that, skip it. There are much better non-chain places to grab lunch in this area.

Man, I remember going to Chili’s all the time when I was a kid, a decade or longer ago when it was straight-up Tex-Mex and wasn’t trying to be a damn Applebee’s. Those were the days. There are still a few items on the menu from the place’s Tex-Mex days, so if you can find those(the soft chicken tacos or the chili, for example), they’re pretty good. A couple of the pasta dishes are fine, too. All of their new stuff though — all the stuff with the word ‘crispy’ in the name TWICE, and they’re actually all soggy as hell — is awful. Last time I went, I got a sampler of spinach-artichoke dip, mini bbq burgers, and ‘crispy chipotle chicken crispers.’ None of it was good. A couple of bites into each, I put them down. The burgers in particular were awful: There was something horribly old and off about the buns. I will vouche for the desserts, though. They’re pretty good.
