After coming back from Hermann, MO and doing their wine trolley, I was dying to see if St. Louis had something similar. Luckily, they do! This place runs Saturdays(11 – 7) and Sundays(Noon-5). I tried it out for the first time last fall and found the overall experience great. They pick you up from the SW commuter lot near highway 40 in a shuttle bus(think senior citizen trip shuttle bus). They then take you to just about any winery you want in the area(the exception being Montelle because Montelle will no longer allow buses near their premises). I found it extremely affordable, especially after seeing what other places in the United States charge. It was only $ 20, which can’t be beat unless you travel out to Hermann. The shuttle buses were clean and the driver was super friendly and accommodating. This is definitely the way you want to travel when visiting the Augusta wineries. My only complaint would be that one of their buses was broken when we went, which made for some long wait times in between the wineries. Hopefully that is fixed now. Finally, I would recommend making a reservation online because they seem to fill up fast(even in the fall). This is definitely something I will do again this year.
