Discovering «brainfreeze» was such a life saver for me! since i and my daughter seem to have an ice cream addiction, the drive thru seriously rocks. lol sounds lazy, but when you have two children drive thrus become your bffs. I reccomend the brainfreeze which is a soft serve mix with any toppings you choose. All in all — its now my go to ice cream place.

The ice cream was good. Not too sweet, but still plenty creamy. I would have liked more chunks in my ice cream though. The flavor options of ice cream were a little disappointing, but the menu seemed to have many concoctions, mixes, and blends of variation to try. (I tried the Cookie Monster flavor)

Oh my gosh. If anyone knows me, they know I love Nastos ice cream from Newark. Well this place has Nastos ice cream in great flavors. Prices are very reasonable and the store is very clean. Owner is very nice.

Fantastic ice cream! Superior what you get at chain ice cream parlors. Couldn’t decide between pumpkin and hazelnut, so I got a mix of the two, and both flavors were delicious. Soft serve ice cream is also very good. Drive-thru service is pretty sweet, too! I’ve gone back a few times now, and I am a believer. It’s well worth checking out.

This is by far our favorite ice cream place! We come back time and time again and the ice cream is always amazing. We even come when it is snowing outside! There is a large selection of flavors and the customer service is excellent! We have sent many friends here and everyone loves it!

Cute shop with a good selection of unique flavors. I had marsmellow (mars candy ice cream) and cotton candy (amazing, could eat it by the bucket). My sister had the cannoli flavor in a cookie cone and loved both. Paid like six bucks for everything so you also can not beat the price.

it’s an ice cream joint. what can go wrong with ice cream?
nothing. Love their waffle cup. the edges were slightly dipped in chocolate.
If I’m ever in the area again, I’d definitely stop by.

So not a fan of this place. It looks all hip and trendy on the outside then you walk in to find this rinky dink, mediocre, ice cream shop. Especially with all the competition in the area including Dairy Queen and all the new Fro-Yo/Creperie places this spot really falls by the wayside. I was generally surprised by how unremarkable my experience was here and have no idea why anyone would waste their time on a place so dull and lackluster with nothing interesting to offer. Even regardless of everything else for me the ice cream wasn’t worth going back for and definitely not worth mentioning.

The ice cream itself was very good, it’s not clear to me if it’s homemade? The vanilla had a nice strong vanilla flavor that tasted like real vanilla bean, not artificial flavoring. Nice assortment of toppings to choose from, I just wish they had more flavors.

I’m an ice cream junkie… And this is my location of choice.
The ice cream is amazing, the prices are on the cheap side, the place is spotless.
The guy who runs the place, Bob, is really a good guy, and you can tell when he’s working because the selection of music being played in the place is impeccable.
Highly recommend.

They serve the same brand of ice cream as Scoops (closed down months ago and was located at Kinderkamack. Coffee flavored hard ice cream is really good. My kids love the cotton candy and chocolate. The owner was really friendly. Before he arrived, the two servers were just as nice, which was a relief as the servers in Scoops were not friendly at all — literally looked unhappy to work there. I really love Conrad’s at Westwood. I personally prefer Conrad’s for their home made ice cream, but Brain Freeze is definitely a good alternative.

Upon my first visit to this place I was very disappointed in the customer service. There was only one worker that greeted my father and I but the man that was serving us had an attitude. I do not know why he was acting like that. My father asked him a question about the menu and the man seemed irritated. His overall demeanor was not friendly and because of that I walked out of that store without buying any ice cream. After that I went to Dairy Queen where I left with my ice cream satisfied. I will not be going to brain freeze ever again. I think the ice cream selection is average and there’s really nothing special about it and I do think the ice cream is a bit over priced.

I was surprised to see how many stars this place received. I was not very impressed by their ice cream selection, taste, or their prices. Perhaps I am spoiled because I grew up near 2 very VERY delicious homemade, year-round ice cream places, but Brain Freeze just doesn’t do it for me.

When having the urge for ice cream you want something close to where you are at the moment. My brother and I stopped into Brain Freeze. They have not been open long but have already gained some regulars. They have unusual flavors for ice cream like mango and pineapple, which were just yum. The coconut was a little disappointing since the texture was grainy because of the shredded pieces in it. The owners are friendly and helpful.
