Eis Arthur DDS

I highly recommend Dr. Eis. I found him when searching frantically for a dentist who could help me out with a horrible toothache the day after Hurricane Sandy hit. I didn’t think I would find an office open and available in Bergen County, NJ, but Dr. Eis called me back RIGHT AWAY and set up an appointment with me ASAP. He and his staff were so friendly and gentle. Dr. Eis was straightforward with me and told me that from the looks of my tooth he would likely have to refer me to an endodontist for the root canal, but that he would try and complete the job himself. He did end up sending me to an endodontist, but he went out of his way to help me find a good one and didn’t at all charge me for a full root canal, which is what I bet some other dentists would do. For the amount of time and effort he put into my tooth, he could have tried to charge me over ten times the amount I ended up paying. He is an upstanding man! And the endodontist said he did an excellent job for not having the high tech equipment only endodontist a have. When I went back to Dr. Eis for my crown, before starting on me, he checked with my insurance company to see how much money I had left this year for dental work without me even asking him to. I really felt that he was looking out for me and making sure I was comfortable with the payments, which is, as you can probably tell, a big concern for me. I DETEST going to the dentist, but I felt perfectly at ease with Dr. Eis, and I have had no discomfort or anything else to complain about from seeing him. Again, his staff are wonderful too. Very kind and personable.
