I had some of the amazing pizza from this truck at the Farmstead Festival in Bethlehem. It is perfectly savory, and the slice is generous. I feel that the crust is the strong suit, as it’s a fairly thick savory bread, but not so thick that it seems like bread with cheese and tomato sauce on top. There was just enough basil for a nice pop of sweet freshness. The slice seems like a fairly basic piece of pizza when you look at it, but then you put it in your mouth, and if you don’t get very happy when you do, then you and I cannot be friends. My friend had a Modena sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it(he was going on the fact that Sal, one of the purveyors, is from Modena, so it must be a specialty). All I can say about that is that the bread made the delightful sounds of crisp/crusty bread with just the right amount of oil soaked into it whenever my friend took a bite, and I kind of wished that I wasn’t vegetarian so that I could try some.
