I cannot say enough incredible things about every aspect of this business. I went there with a family ring to be bezel-​set and resized after a quick, extremely helpful email response directly from the owner when I first inquired. Once I arrived, the entire staff was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and truly a pleasure to talk to. Got the ring back within a week, and it came out more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. This will be my go-​to jeweler and constant recommendation to everyone I know from now on.

Before David and his team moved to their new location, my now, fiancé and I, were strolling though New Paltz’s artsy town and decided to randomly take a gander on this jewelry shop hidden away.
Not only do you receive the biggest smile from David instantly but this family owned business is full of that energy all around. We’ve been blessed to either get the warmest greeting from their pup, Ollie or his wife, Sara, passing on through with their son. The entire staffs energy seemed like an extension of family immediately.
We had been searching for the perfect vintage engagement ring for quite some time and the first ring my fiancé set his eyes on was the one. We asked David to try it on but not only before we peered down and found a wedding band for my fiancé that David handcrafted himself. Could you believe they both fit us, perfectly ?
We’ve since then designed my wedding band with David, whose always extremely eager to bring your idea to life but BETTER. We’ve also added some jewels on to the original wedding band for my fiancé.
Our favorite piece that we’ve received, was an untouched organic yellow tear drop diamond, that David delicately wrapped in a thin gold lining and hung it from a gold chain. Symbol of purity. Resembled the jewel that’s building fantasia at the end of The Never Ending Story.
The restorative quality and choices are impeccable, while the artistry of their own work stands out amongst them. You’ll definitely find an Incredible selection of vintage items as well as an Incredible selection of handcrafted work.

My fiancé and I went to David at Hudson Valley Goldsmith to custom make our wedding rings for our wedding. My fiancé was given my great grandmothers engagement ring to give to me. Dave was able to create a wedding band that matches my great grandmothers ring perfectly! My husband to be had a very specific idea in mind for his wedding band and Dave was able to make it come to life! We were kept update on the process of our rings. He showed us stones he specially hand picked and ordered for our rings.
