An impromptu choice. We sat on the stools and ordered up a medium poutine and a small order with the veggie aioli. While those were frying, I picked up a couple of hot dogs from the Kosiner’s stand at the front of the market. That seems to be the drill. The fries themselves are five star, a nice cut, a bit of skin, and cooked just right. The poutine only gets three stars, the fries are great, but the gravy is kind of tasteless, and more cheese curds were needed. The hot dogs were a little pricey for Sabrett’s, even factoring in the«gourmet» toppings, and they need to be upgraded to match the level of the fries. If I came back I would plump for the organic dogs, but they are pricier still.

I had the fries of my life, and I owe it all to youuuu… Sat at the counter with my husband and 2 year old. Great décor, atmosphere. Music playing was reggae. Not many seats, expect to take out sit elsewhere in the market. We got lucky! Fries are the only thing on the menu and the fries are wonderful. Large selection of fry sauce from mayo like garlic aoili to bbq or seasonal specials like Pumpkin! One of the Kosiner Bros was working the fryer today and he was a personable lad! The fries are thick cut and light and crispy.
