Clearly this is a place where the people who grow up with the food absolutely love it and swear by it. I stopped in for some food to-go a couple of weeks ago and was supremely disappointed. The pros: friendly staff, nice local atmosphere, and the garlic cheese bread was solid. Cons: the pizza. I’ve had a lot of pizza in my life. This pizza tastes remarkably similar to what you would find in the frozen foods section of many grocery stores. In fact I’ve had better frozen pizzas than the pizza at Old Time. And the tomato sauce lacked seasoning altogether. It’s just bad pizza, but locals swear by it… which tells me it’s more about what they grew up with and supporting a local business than it is about actually enjoying a product that’s satisfactory. My wife did enjoy the taco salad. Also, the«gyro» sandwich is made of roast beef. The only thing Greek about it is that they use pita bread. We will eat there again if there are no other options. I really wanted it to be better.

Best Pizza I’ve had in a long time. Other than Cook’s Pizza in Wakarusa and Jimtown Pizza I haven’t had better pizza around here.

My family and I went into old time pizza expecting at least a mediocre pizza, but we did not even get close to that. The girl at the counter taking our order had a bad attitude. On top of that the pizza was overly cheesy and obviously had ingredients of NO quality. The atmosphere of the place is odd. with eagles as the décor. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

Great food and family atmosphere. The pizza has plenty of toppings and the broasted pork chops are thick and juicy. A fine selection of sub sandwiches as well. And for desert… homemade pie! You won’t leave hungry.
