I came here last night for my bday and had the worst experience ever. It took forever to be seated, get drink refills, and to get our food. When we finally got the food it was freezing cold. The sauce was just awful. I have had the fried pasta all of my life and it always tasted to same, not this time! The waitress said they changed the recipe a few months ago. It was so sad and extremely disappointing. I grew up with this food and now it has just went down the drain!!! I have a feeling they will be closing down soon. It’s horrible to change things that have worked for so many years. Just sick.

I was here once in 2003 and don’t remember what kind of experience I had. Our visit on 3÷30÷15 was ok. Worthy of 3 stars. Our waitress was obviously smoking and you could smell it every time she got near us. The food is so so. I’ve had better and I’ve had worse. The waitress paced back and forth after we were finished and gave us our checks. She may have been ending her shift, because I finally grabbed our tabs and said, «Is this what you want?» We never saw her again. We will probably give this place another chance. I have a waitress friend, who worked here when it was Bassetti’s and she’s working here again. I have’nt seen her in 30+ years. I will make sure I call ahead. Ask for Cookie.

The Pro’s Table was quite crowded the night we visited and it seemed like a lot of people were enjoying their meal. The service was professional and attentive. The food, on the other hand, was mediocre at best. My husband’s steak was under seasoned and a bit chewy. My fish was dry and flavorless. The salad was package with some good Swiss cheese and a lonely olive. Dressing tasted bottled. Our friend had a portion of lasagna that would feed a family of 4 if you like that much lasagna. If the chef would get some fresh ingredients instead of packaged we would give this restaurant another try.

I would have to agree that this place caters to an older clientele as the restaurant itself is clean, but very dated. The food was just ok as I got their Kansas City and bones which was supposed to be a small steak and ribs. The menu said baby-back ribs which always means pork and they very clearly were beef ribs. Very fatty, just not good. The steak was very good. A huge menu! I would suggest cutting the menu in half and focus on those dishes for quality and all fresh ingredients. Will I go back, maybe… maybe not.

Not a bad place, I had the perch which was obviously a frozen product. I was disappointed with the side dish which was carrots. I don’t eat carrots but the waitress was nice enough to give me applesauce. It is obviously a place that caters to the more seasoned customers.

If you’re of the older persuasion then this may be the place for you! If you like your food under seasoned and over cooked then come on down! I have attempted to order steak, pasta, seafood, and salads at this establishment and have yet to feel as if the chef weren’t playing a cruel joke on me. They do have a meatball appetizer that is actually rather good and their house red wine wasn’t too bad but I have completely given up on this place! Surprisingly it was packed every time I’d gone, mostly with baby boomers and up so I assume it’s because their tastebuds have deteriorated. The lighting is dim for a reason, I have no idea when the carpet was last changed or the whole place was dusted, I’m glad I don’t know what the kitchen looks like. Two stars for your meatballs and wine!

Here is a recent review for this place. My wife and I and a friend had dinner here last night. The reviews didn’t scare me as our friend lives in the area and had heard good things. The only complaint that I had is that our initial entrance to the place was awkward, quite awkward. Someone at the front said hi and then once we told her there was four of us she looked away and said nothing. Then she left, came back, another employee came to her and they talked, some more people came in – they received the same lack of attention. After about ten minutes another lady came from the dining room and asked us about our party – apparently she was the hostess. Even still, for the other lady not to acknowledge us or let us know the hostess would be with us was in bad manners. Food was good, bill wasn’t bad, and our server was awesome – very attentive, very professional! We wanted pasta and we were glad we came to this place.

Yuck! My brisket sandwich was burnt. My wife’s Alfredo sauce was runny. The iced tea tasted funny and there were brown rotting lettuce leaves in the salad. For as empty as the place was, the service was very slow. On the plus side, the garlic cheese bread was pretty good.

I was a little nervous when pulling in to the parking lot and noticing the lack of cars. After eating there, I am not sure why it wasn’t busier. The prices are reasonable and the service was great. The food was pretty good. I had the steak and home fries which were made fresh. Lunch for two was less than $ 20. And that included sides and salads. Is it the best food I’ve ever eaten? No, but I have paid a lot more for far worse.

I have eaten at The Pro’s Table several times now. Their specialty is called Pro’s Pasta, and essentially a brick of fried pasta with cheese and sauce(or alfredo sauce and seafood). Their food these days is a hit or a miss though. For example, I was there last night. I ordered the grouper, seafood pro’s pasta side and a bowl of French onion soup. The soup’s flavor was weaker than I prefer, the grouper was delicious. but my pro’s pasta was cold, as usual. My mother’s meal was cold as well(she had a steak with regular pro’s pasta). I don’t think I’ve had a truly hot meal from them for the last three or four times I’ve been there. Bottom line is, their food is pretty good most of the time, but only if you luck out and get it while it’s hot. I actually would give this place 4 stars if it wasn’t a matter of luck…
