I don’t know who listed this under restaurants, but they are wrong. This is a private beach. You have to be s member to get in the gate. The woman we spoke to at the gate about eating at their restaurant was Dow right mean & rude about the fact that they do not have a restaurant. When we told friends about our experiences at Gulf Harbors Beach Club, they told us that while the picnic facilities and sand are nice, the water is rocky & full of sea weed.

This is a total joke of a beach. Not worth your time at all. They charge you a ridiculous amount to be a member of the beach club just for the right to use the beach. Living in Gulf Harbors isn’t enough. The beach itself is ugly and small. It’s full of rank smelling seaweed. There is trash from inconsiderate people. The water for this beach is the gulf of mexico, but for some reason it’s not fresh looking or smelling. If you want to go to the beach, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, this one isn’t worth your time and money. Also, they used to let residents come and watch the sunset for free, but not anymore. These money hungry A*holes decided that they needed to charge people to watch the sunset. Now that is truly sad.

The many gazebos with picnic table and BBQ make it a very rare treat in the enjoyment of this beach. The white, soft sand is so enjoyable because the beach, bathrooms, gazebos and grounds are meticulously maintained on a daily basis. To make the beach a part of the day is never a disappointment.
