If you like being stalked by a salesperson this is the place to shop. We were assaulted by a salesperson the minute we entered the store. We explained we were just browsing in the hopes of making her go away but it didn’t work. Every time we turned around she was right behind us. It’s a big store filled with unexceptional furniture so she did a lot of walking for no reason. I would never buy furniture there. The quality is suspect and I hate that style of furniture selling.

This company is a SCAM. I purchased a whole house full of furniture about 5 years ago all because of their«guarantee for life«. My sectional and recliner started peeling after 2 years. I was told by my salesman it was Italian leather. .LIE it’s some bonded leather that at the time it peeled I was told that isn’t covered. So I recently called them to express how upset I was with my experience and how my sectional now sheds little leather pieces all over my house. After arguing with customer service that I should be in the computer and waiting a day for a call back I never got I called again and was told my set has some recall, take pics and corporate office will review them. FINALLY, some hope… NOT. they Called and offered me 300 for my set! Oh they also want it back. What do I buy for 300, and it’s store credit, why do I want to ever buy from there again… I was lied to and paid alot of money and their solution to my problem is insulting. STAYAWAY

I had a previous experience that put me off with them but five years later I thought that I would give them a second chance. My husband and I found a sectional sofa that we liked. We then had to hunt down a sales person. To say that this man had no personality is being nice. After letting him know that we wanted to purchase the sofa he walked us to a computer and entered our information. He let us know that it would have to be ordered and would be in around mid April(this was the beginning of March) we decided that was fine and he walked us to the payment counter. I was prepared to pay for it in full but was instructed that we only had to put part of it down because it wasn’t in stock so that what I did. That evening we came back to the store to see how the sectional fit together. We hadn’t thought about it before. We have hardwood floors and pieces that don’t lock together slide around and damage the floor so we wanted to check this sofa. Our salesman ignored us. In fact walked away from us. We finally found another gentleman to help us and answer our questions. Fast forward to mid-April. No sofa. I waited until the end of April to call. I was instructed that it had been delayed. I asked why no one had called us to let us know and was told that a manager would call me back. I waited FOURDAYS before calling again. I was told that it would be in Mid-May by the receptionist. Mid May??? They didn’t think a one month delay warranted a call? I asked again for a manager and was told one would call me back. I let her know about the previous call and informed her that we were going out of town from mid May until early June and she said that it wouldn’t be a problem but that a manager would call me back. No call. Now here we are. May 18th I and my husband both received a voicemail from a very rude person saying«your couch is in. Who’s coming to pay for it?!» I call back immediately and say«well we are out of town until 6⁄4. I informed your receptionist of that and a manager would have known if one bothered to ever call me back» He then informs me that I have ten days to pay for the sofa and pick it up or it will be sold to another customer. WHAT??! So you delay a sofa by a month and then demand that I pick it up in ten days when I am out of town??? I explain to him everything that has happened and his response is «well if I was treated that way I wouldn’t want the „damn thing“ and would demand a refund» Soooo, that’s what I did. Hopefully I will have a check in my mailbox when I get home. Although, I am sure that it too will be delayed without a call. Now, let me be straight. I am not upset at all about the delay. As some one whom worked for Ethan Allen in my college days I know that the sales people and store have no control over when merchandise comes in. However they do have control over how customers are treated. I highly suggest that instead of visiting any of the Kane’s locations that you save yourself the headache and go to Hudson’s in Palm Harbor. They have treated me wonderfully EVERYTIME and I should have just stuck with them. When we return, I will take my refund from Kane’s and purchase a sofa at Hudsons.

Well, this is a furniture I would not recommend. I bought a cocktail table. Took well over a month. Ok, I’m a patient person. I drive 40 minutes to pick up and isn’t there an issue with it. When I call customer service, explain that it isn’t my fault it’s broken, they should deliver and to me. They declined. But offered me a $ 25.00 credit if I keep as is. Or comeback fo exchange. Great. I shall return, get my money back. Poor customer service, I waited too long for this furniture, it’s a long drive, they least they should have done was offer to deliver a new one. Keep going somewhere else… Apparently customer satisfaction isn’t important. Furniture is cheap/shoddy.

I purchased what I thought was a leather couch and chair from Kane’s furniture. After a year and a half, the color is rubbing off of the back of the«leather chair»; I’ve owned leather before and never had the color rub off. In addition, the lever that operates the foot rest snapped off. I will never buy furniture from Kane’s again and I’ll be sure to tell my friends not to either

Ugh, this store has furniture that is so dated it may be coming back into style. When we asked the salesman if they had any storage ottomans he mumbled and ummm’ed a lot before deciding he wasn’t sure, that he’d have to look. Well, we were doing that! We had already found one that was the right color, but too large and too pricey for $ 299. The set of furniture upon entering is downright hilarious– bejeweled and glass. Most prices seemed more moderate than Havertys or LayZBoy. They did have a decent sized kids section and an antiquated PlayStation built into the wall where we parked my son while we browsed nearby. That’s a great idea! There’s nothing worse than having to drag a young child through a furniture store!
