Ok place and drink prices reasonable but I can’t visit because the smoke is horrendous and there’s absolutely no ventilation that I can see. Allergic to smoke & I wound up leaving after an hour because I feel like I’m going to keel over. I’ve been here numerous times to watch one particular band that I like to see quite often and just can’t stomach the place anymore because of the thick smoke I always encounter. I understand it’s a dive bar but a little bit of ventilation would be useful.

Me and my fiancé had gone to the reef a few times as we heard from others they have a complimentary buffet as long as you order a drink. We both ordered diet cokes which come in very small cups for 2.00. Last week we came and a lady came and rudely said there is a 2 drink minimum which we ordered. Tonight we walked in and the waiter asked us to leave which stunned us. I asked for the manager wh I was the rude lady from last week. In a loud voice in front of our friends she rudely said we didn’t drink enough. We said we don’t drink alcohol because I am on a lot of meds. She said she can’t make any money with us even though we were going to order 2 cokes apiece. This was totally insulting and embarrassing and so we left. They implied they are catering to heavy alcohol drinkers. She could not have been any more rude and insulting.

I went and saw Stormbringer there and it was an awesome show! They were packed and there was not a seat available. I took my 74 year old mother who uses a cane and I asked them if they had a chair for her. They brought us to a table they had reserved for the band! We didn’t know this until the first intermission and the band sat with us. They were all friendly and talked with us. The service was great even though they were really busy and the drinks were good too.

Ever been in a Bar that has assigned seating? This is it, we were asked to move down from our Barstools twice so a certain individual could have his special seat! Then they wanted to split the 3 of us up because this person couldn’t sit in any other seat but that one particular seat (it would have been 1 seat over) we thought he was joking? This is a very OBNOXIOUS PERSON and I wouldn’t want him sitting next to my wife anyway. This happens regularly? Most clickish bar in New Port Richey! There are many other places to spend your money in Town.

I drove up from Clearwater to hear a friend’s band and was the DD for my party. I ordered several Cokes and then switched to water. When I asked for my bill I discovered that I was charged $ 2/​Coke (which come in 6 oz. cups). My waitress agreed that it was a rip-​off and that she was also being given a hard time by her manager for bringing me so much water. (4 cups over 5 hours). When I asked to speak to the manager the waitress came back and informed me that he/​she (??) said that’s just the way it is. They couldn’t even be bothered to come speak with me. Needless to say I will not go back to this blight of a bar in New Port Richey and I will be sharing this experience with anyone I can. I can’t believe a bar wouldn’t do more to promote responsible drinking.
