I’ve been taking my dog there for over a year and all of a sudden we are informed he is not welcome back when we try to book an appointment. Nothing was stated when I picked him up last time and they happily accepted my extra tip. Not a good way to run a business… as I have recommended them to family and friends (which I will be notifying).

Pretty fair prices and always do a good job on my two cats. I pay about $ 50/​each for lion cuts. It’s really hard to find someone willing to groom cats, especially in that price range, so we keep taking them back. My only gripe is that one time I picked my cats up and when I got home they had fleas! Ugh. I guess that can’t really be helped in that industry.

3 stars because they do a great job, but have horrible customer service. The prices have gone up quite a bit since I’ve started going here 3 years ago. Watch out though. The lady raises the price every time you go back without letting you know. So don’t go in there with your check already made out. I understand that she may need to increase her prices, but you need to let your customer know before hand. I went here because she was the best price and cut for my kitty. I don’t go here anymore not because of her price, but because of the way they do business.

The ladies at Pet Starr are phenomenal! They were unbelievably nice, accommodating, knowledgable and skillful. The prices were great and the service was amazing. I am so glad to have found a local, independent groomer I feel comfortable with.

First Class! Our toy poodle buddy always gets exactly the cut we want, we have changed styles, over time and they always get it right. Buddy usually has some anxiety going to the groomers, but at Pet Starr he seems to be doing fine. They must be treating him well. Service with appointment is always right on time, rather quick turnaround and right on the $$. Thanks for providing outstanding service.

Pet Starr is a family-​owned and operated business, with a small team led by a mother and daughter in charge of washing and grooming dogs or other family pets. They have reasonable pricing and take walk-​ins as well as appointments. Best of all, you can tell that the people who work there really love animals. Ashley, the groomer, will do fun things like mohawks or pet-​friendly dyes and nail paints, if requested. Definitely a great choice for pet owners who are looking for a personal touch.
