I usually tried to avoid this Publix because the workers are zombies, but I was in a hurry and I stopped at the deli counter to ask for thin sliced bologna WITHOUT THE PLASTIC WRAPPER SKIN ON IT, and liverwurst also WITHOUT THE WRAPPER SKIN. Even after clearly hearing my request, the fool behind the counter STILL sliced it all with the skin on, making me have to pick through my sandwich to get the plastic strings out. Annoying! They’re hopeless!

I had the pleasure of ordering the catfish dinner and it was HORRIBLE. I even tried to make it tastie with tarter sauce and hot sauce but that did not work. Chicken, is the only hot fried food that is good. I was very disappointed when I got home. Wished I could bring it back as well as get my money back. The sides were ok except for the Mac n Cheese needs to not look so yucky as it has been sitting there on the hot plate for HOURS! My roll was a bit wet as it was touching the mash potatoes and gravy. Publix please do better. I can’t believe they serve nasty food as such at this location. Now I have to try a different location.

This is a nice, newer Publix with green features like cooler lights with motion sensors that only come one when you walk in front of them. Publix in general is my favorite grocery stores. They have fantastic customer service, honor all competitor coupons, many honor expired coupons, have a good selection and are always clean. They have great deals with their BOGO sales and baby and kid’s clubs, including free cookies! Overall their prices may be a *little* higher than their competitors but I’d gladly pay a little more not to have to deal with Wal-Mart!
