Sam’s Club

I really hate shopping here sometimes. 7 – 8 people on each checkout line and only three cashiers are open… Even better one just decided to close down. So only 2 are open now at 6pm. I guess they just don’t give a damn.

This is not specific to a particular club location but to their recent ‘refer a friend’ promotion that offered the current member and the referred member a $ 10 gift card to each when a referral was made and the new member signed up. I made my referral over a month anda half ago and received my card within a week. HOWEVER, the person I referred who signed up immediately has STILL not received their card. THREE repeated calls have all gotten the same answer: «still in process» and the fact that SAMs club is having programming problems with their E-​gift cards.
BEWARE — think twice before u purchase an e-​gift card from SAMs because u may NEVER receive it!!! Because they can’t seem to fix their programming problems!

This is a terrible store. I am a handicap veteran that was shopping there a lot. The store manager was very rude to my family and didn’t know what he was talking about. I will take my business somewhere else.

Before a few months ago I hadn’t really bought into the whole «Buy in Bulk» philosophy that these and Costco stores emphasized. Boy, have I been missing out. Although I’m sure buying in bulk doesn’t work for every single item on your grocery list, I quickly found I was saving a good deal by shopping at Sam’s as opposed to a regular supermarket, especially when buying meat and hygiene items such as shampoo and vitamins.
I’ve never had a bad experience at this Sam’s Club, although going here on a weekend will definitely test your patience. So if you have to, go early on the weekend to avoid the crowds. Great service at the pharmacy as well as throughout the store made shopping a much more pleasant experience and saved me a headache that I was certainly expecting.

Great fresh departments always cheaper than the local grocery stores and better quality also.

It’s Sam’s Club… what can I say? Sometimes you get great deals, sometimes you don’t…
