My daughter was 12 years old and I was 39 when we first started karate. We both have learned many great life lessons and real life applications. We both just got promoted to 1st Dan (black belt). The father and daughter experience is one of a kind. My other daughter has since joined and three of us still attend together. Still trying to get my wife to attend, lol.

My son, began his martial arts journey at Suncoast Tang Soo Do in 2008. He instantly loved it! I am impressed by the highly professional approach and respectful attitude of the training staff, and by the equal emphasis on self-​defense skills and strategies, on the one hand, and character-​building, on the other hand. Much more then martial arts are taught here; leadership, respect, focus, motivation, discipline, and many other skills that apply to everyday life. Being a part of Suncoast Tang Soo Do and The World Tang Soo Do Assoc has been a blessing. We have an extended family throughout the world! We look forward to many years of practicing karate and growing as a family with Suncoast Tang Soo Do!
