Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday and to watch the Bengals game under the new owners. I talked to them and they are committed to making this the good conversation and riverfront bar.
The slow remodeling continues. The restaurant is clean and has a decent selection of beer. I have concentrated on Stella as my beer there and they have the proper glasses.
I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with mayo and through the garden. The burger was a good medium well and juicy. The bacon was done correctly. The flavor was excellent. They use only fresh beef and this shows in the finished product.
Great burger and the handcut fries… WOW. The texture was good (maybe a little crisper) and they were well seasoned.
This is a home town institution and the food was well prepared.
Well worth a trip and looking forward to the new menu.
