BR Brothers Brazilian Buffet

OK, the brothers sold their restaurant. what a disappointment and now not as clean and sanitary as it used to be.
I can’t eat there anymore.

UPDATE… This place is definitely improving since my first visit and last review shown below… I’m leaving my old review so the owners can keep up the good work. Meats taste much more flavorful and more juicy (but could use a bit more sea salt) and the buffet seems to have improved too. I loved the skirt steak. The only thing left for this place to do is stir up the food more frequently to prevent the food from crusting over… Second, they could add more sauces like a simple vinegar and salsa mixture to dip meats in. Or maybe they can make a nice cilantro, jalapeño, mayo sauce like they have at Pio Pio. I tasted their extra spicy secret sauce (available upon request) and it was good… just a little on the over spicy side.
THE FOLLOWING IS MY FIRST REVIEW…
I love Brazilian churassco so when I heard this place was going to open right next to my Apt here in New Rochelle, I couldn’t wait… Unfortunately, this place turned out to be a huge disappointment!!! The small selection of food at the side bar looked and tasted like it had been sitting out for hours (the rice and beans were barely edible). The meat sliced off the grill tasted under seasoned, dry, poor quality, and over cooked. To top things off, the cashier guy didn’t seem to know what he was doing and took 10 minutes just to ring me up. By the time I ate, the food was ice cold.
In summary, if you want really good Brazilian BBQ, go to Port Chester’s Brazilian Café on Adee Street. Its worth the drive!!! If I were one of the BR brothers I would visit the Brazilian Café and take some serious notes on what real Brazilian BBQ and side items should taste like.
I know this review sounds harsh but this is my honest, unbiased opinion. I think it’s important that the owners of this business no the truth about their restaurant before its too late for them to make any changes.

Let me start off by saying… I love this place. I work in New Rochelle and my coworkers and I eat here every chance we get. The food is great and nothing beats some healthy fresh BBQ. They season their meats with just sea salt and that really brings out the taste of the meat. It also puts the food on the healthier side too. For good quality fast food this is the place to go. The employees are great and the food is even better!
