Lot’s of changes at Danny’s lately. mostly with the people which by far is always most important. I’ve been going there for years(since metro) so i can give you a long term view. Used to be great, definitely fell off a little last year. The shop turned around since Dave took over. Dave is the man and like all good men, moved up in the company. Ken is the new manager and also extremely good. Andrea and Justice and great guys too and always go beyond to help. I ride mostly mtb but have a road and dual sport bike too. I enjoy all. The weakness they have had for some time since the conversion has been in the mtb arena. I have been vocal about it. Pretty sure that they acknowledged their weaknesses and fixed them. Justice is their mtb dude so if you need anything related, go straight to him. Just bought two bikes this past week, two bikes for kid earlier this year. I’m loyal, they reciprocate. Brought two bikes in for repairs Sunday morning, both were ready in less than 2 hours. I do wish they expand their brand line. They are mostly a Trek store. They carry Specialized in Scarsdale, Rye and CT. What’s huge and especially for mtb’s is that the bikes come with lifetime service and 30 day guarantee. I turned out completely loving my bike but if I didn’t, I would give it back for full refund. If you really push your mtb, it needs to be tuned often… that service plan is probably worth at least 200 t0500 a year to me. Can’t overlook that in your purchase when considering finding your best deal on used bike or a store that might be 5% lower. Between price and people, they are my local bike shop!

Absolutely pathetic service. Brought my bike in for a tune up for my road bike… turned out they broke my shifter some how. Brought it back in to get replaced, was told it had to be replaced. Then told it was on order. Three weeks later, I stopped in to see if the work was done. First I was told it was done, but clearly it wasnt(shifter was still visibly broken). Then I was told it wasnt ordered yet. When I asked why, I was told«just busy», but it looked like he could care less. And when I left with bike, guy seemed thrilled I was taking my bike and permanent business with me. I truly hope a manager of the store reads this. My entire family was looking to get new bikes, plenty of other places ro purchace and tune them. Thousands of my dollars youll never see after being treated like that. Never, ever will I step foot back in ANY Danny’s and I intentend to spread that word.

Staff was awesome, courteous and a pleasure to converse with. Went here because of a persistent clicking and ticking that was plaguing my pedals. Mis-diagnosed my problem when they gave me an estimate but found out the real cause of my bikes issues while working on it and adjusted to price to LOWER than I had been quoted. Class act. I’ll be a returning customer and an advocate of this location for any bike repair needs. Only drawback is that since the location is small they have a fairly limited selection of bicycles compared to the Central Ave store, no big deal tho. I’ll test drive in Central and have New Ro order it so I can buy from them.
