DAVE’S CAST OF CHARACTERS

At an event where Dave’s Cast of Characters was doing face painting. Not impressed with their lack of compassion for children. We got in line for face painting and both painters were working on children. We stood their for a while, one of the painters finished, smiled at us, and started to pack up… So we waited for the other artist. She too finished and then looked at us… Didn’t say anything for a while and then says «oh we’re done, we’ve been making announcements». We hadn’t heard any announcements and while I understand they were «done» it was frustrating to have been standing there waiting when they could have told us they were finished as soon as we’d walked up. Personally, I would have appeased a 3 year old by painting a quick heart or star on their hand. It would have gone over well with the parents too who would then consider hiring such kind people for a party perhaps. Again, I understand they wanted to get out of there and maybe they had somewhere else to be, but don’t leave a child waiting in line if you aren’t going to deliver. Taking care of one more customer really quickly would have gone a long way.
